He's frequently taken backhanded shots at us. I don't dislike him for having his team play hard against us. However, I can't respect him when he wont have that same energy for other teams. Example - Notre Dame, 2025. Totally laid down for them.

I don't know if they would have beat ND if he actually had his team focused and prepared like he did against GT and us. What if he had them ready and have them play at their best level. If they beat ND, we are probably in the playoffs. Even if Pitt loses a close one, that would have helped us since we beat them in dominating fashion. As a coach, you can't say things like he was saying to the media leading up to that game. He said all week that ND game didn't matter and they were only focused on the last 2 ACC games. His team certainly played like the game didn't matter. Against us, Pitt came out strong and focused. They were leading 7-3 at one point and the effort was there for them. We eventually overwhelmed them, but they definitely wanted to win our game.

So, Josh Gattis ****ing on the Canes. Surprised our favorite writer didn’t include the history or consider the source when including his thoughts. The clincher comment is where he blows up ND as being bigger, faster, stronger. ****, we physically kicked their ***.

Oh man. That's not good. A Broyles Award winner said this stuff about us?

Also, Syracuse passing offense of 15/28 for 124 against Miami vs 17/30 for 95 against Notre Dame. Just a real chasm between those results. And we didn't play the lacrosse walk on. Same dude went 4 for 18 with 39 yards against UNC and 10/18 for 65 yards against BC. Josh Gattis, you're a clown.

That would be a really weak argument from ND seeing that Narduzzi publicly stated that the ND game did not matter to them and the two most important games of the season was GT and Miami.

During the ND game, Pitt looked lethargic and unprepared. ND jumped out early. Pitt looked like they could care less to play that game.

Pitt came to play against us. They showed really good effort for a while before we took control. Their receivers were making some ridiculous catches and their defense was flying around making some sticks.
