This defensive line can’t be blocked

Sayin's #s weren't that bad against OSU..OSU just could not run the ball at all and couldn't score or get the extra few yards when they needed it.

He was 21/29 for 258 yards 1TD 1INT. 72% completion and 9ypa.

And his 6 sacks were a killer because they resulted in -29 yards.
Now insert Miami defense that’s better than Indiana.

The thing about Ohio State much like Miami, they need to play on schedule because of the lack of QB mobility. Take away the run and you will consistently get them in 3rd and long, and that’s where this pass rush will shine.

A&M had given up 10 sacks all year, 0 against Notre Dame. The gave up 7 today. Rewatching the first couple series they actually did well. Once we got adjusted the floodgates opened up. Our DL is legit.
Exactly, their offensive line was not pre season hype like Notre Dame, they actually proved it on the field in the “SEC” and Bain, Scott, Moten, and Mesidor were alll basically unblockable after the adjustment.

That was one of the most impressive defensive line performances, I have witnessed from a Miami team in my life. They just destroyed a very good unit.

There just isn’t another offensive line in the playoffs even close to them. Miami will have a sizeable advantage upfront the rest of the way.

From a recruiting standpoint, that performance is why this staff does not recruit 325+ pound DTs. They want guys who can get in the backfield and disrupt plays. Miami has not played 1 DT that weights over 305 this season, but they have one of the best run defense in the nation and seem to be improving.

I haven’t seen the snap counts but I liked that we subbed out Mesi and Bain early on. Also if you want a good view of the game go rewatch it on ESPN skycast. Basically the drone all 22 view without announcers. I think that was the ESPN U feed. Rewatching now. Our D is legit.

Miami just completely dismantled the best offensive line left in the playoffs. They held them to 89 rushing yards at 2.5 yards per carry, added 7 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. Bain and Mesidor turned Trey “I don’t think he’ll be a threat” Zuhn into a turnstile. Zuhn is the best individual offensive lineman in the SEC (Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner and 1st Team All-SEC), and as a unit A&M was one of, if not the highest rated offensive lines remaining in the CFP outside of Miami’s own.

Ohio State struggled with Indiana. This Miami defensive line will wreck them. Get ready for ring 6 guys.
Zuhn didn’t have to watch film on Rueben Bain that **** was live and in person. He got all the smoke he wanted. I wonder if he’s still got that smirk on his face.

Will go watch it now, thanks for the heads up.

Scriggins made an appearance . **** I wish we had Lowe, that kid was on pace to be first guy off the bench and a lot of PT before injury.
I saw him out there, wanted to go back and pay more attention to his play. These coaches have done a great job developing these guys this year.

I have a feeling Lowe could have had a Fitz type of impact, based off the fact he was getting the same level of praise as Fitz and Tony before the injury. Can’t wait to see him in this defense next season.

I've always loved this DLINE you *** clown! Let's go Canes! Quarterfinal Bound! You were dead wrong about their weights! Thank you for your continued viewership. You continue to say I don't know the game, but you keep watching! I love your support
I called BS on that you ******* clown! You dissed on this D line earlier in the season calling them too small and they have continued to show you game in and game out why you don’t know **** about football. But keep on with your BS agenda sport and I’ll keep calling you out on it. 👍

You said we had multiple 310+ bodies which we don’t. We don’t even have one - I always said I liked the talent.

You argued with me about the weights which you were about 10-20 pounds off on your estimates and that’s OK, but you were dead wrong.

Thank you for your continued clicks you clown!
