I know it will be hard but we can still close this cycle Top 20 maybe even Top 15. Most of our highly rated targets are on defense which I think we have an advantage. Plus MAR is our highest rated offensive player, which I think he's coming. Somethings break our way, which i understand the pessimism why it wouldnt, we could end up with 260 points and thats not counting Martin and Kennedy. This class can be saved.

Couldn't pull anyone? Huff and Brooks are pretty **** good at LB. The whole 2019 class is basically all defense lol

No one wanted Brooks after his injury and was looking at Louisville at the time he decommitted for a day. He got one guy Huff in 3 years. Guess he thought Golden guy McCloud, Shaq and Pickney had unlimited years at Miami

This class is a wash there’s no “saving” it. Get who you can then focus solely on ‘20 and bring in 30 kids.

find a way to close with Bogle, Rique, MAR, Darius Washington, TJ Jones, Emerson, Hunte and transfer QB and that's a top 20 class easy which would be incredible considering where we were just a week or so ago.

We need to knock on every door, call every phone, ... until we find another 10 kids. We have 17-18 kids in this class, 18 if they really gave the long snapper a ship.

DE Bogle - if he somehow doesn't have the option to go to Bama. We need at least 1 more DE if not 2!
DT Hunte- I'd gladly take another. Ford, Nesta, Bethel, Miller plus 4 freshmen. While Bethel isn't AA material, I sure wish he had a redshirt year.
LB- Brothers
CB- Rique if we are lucky
S- Emerson

ATH- MAR, I'd like to see him be a WR/RB similar to Bell.
WR- Jones or another fast kid from South Florida
QB- ?
OL- God help us, 1-2 of the best available!

We should sign 6-8 DL every year. We should sign 4-5 OL every year. We should sign 1 QB every year. The rest should be easier to land in South Florida.

Make that 2 more DE now that Joe has declared. At worst, find more LB and move Joyner to DE for another year!

DE: Garvin, Rousseau, Patchan, Joyner + Harvey*,Williams*, ?, ?
DT: Bethel, Nesta, Ford, Miller + Munoz, Holley, Blissett, ?

Time for some kids to take the next step.
In '18 we lost Moten, Norton, McIntosh, Thomas, Harris, Young, Delaney, Perry, and Owens. (5 DL, 2 DB, 2 LB)
In '19 we will not have Willis, Tito, Joe Jackson, Quan, Redwine, Dean, Jackson, Smith. (3 DL, 3 DB, 1 LB)

Diaz couldn't pull anyone at his position, now that he is HC kids are going to cream their pants to play him , child please
Don't underestimate the effect our **** poor offense could have on prospective defensive recruits. They see the exasperated expression on our defenders' faces as they stave off exhaustion trying to keep Miami from losing the game with only 3 points contributed by the offense.

With Manny, they know he will at least try to do something different.

At this point I'd be happy with bogle, richards, emerson, jones, and the transfer qb & wr from Buffalo.

Miami needs to come down off their season ticket prices until they can recruit better. Diaz is better than Rorcht, but we still ain't beatin' Curby and he don't even have a DC. His *** is boss and we are ***.

You are spot on, defensive recruits do NOT want to play for a team that cannot move the ball on offense. Add in how truly bad Richts playcalling was and its the perfect storm for recruiting woes. There is enough talent on this team next year to be a 9 win team if it's all pulled together correctly. If we can get 9 Ws I think recruiting will start to trend up for us. We dont have to have a top 10 offense to get recruits interested, we do need a plan tho and that plan need to yield some success upfront to catch recruits attention. Sometimes just the idea of the right offense can be enough to get a kid to sign with us. We have to see this new offense play out tho and we need to be fully committed to it, no time for wishy washy plans.
