This Clip sums up the team

Come on man don't you guys know a Chinese fire drill when you see one.our oline had a conference after the ball was snapped asking who you gonna block.outcome of the play gives an idea on what they decided.

How the **** did Zion end up on the ground on the other side of the line?

Who gives a ****? He and Brevin are the only two who took their guys out of DeeJays run lane. That’s AFTER Gaynor gets shoved into Zion. Clark blocks no one. I think he’s looking for a LB? Donaldson blocks no one. Gaynor Trips and is turned all the way around. Hightower passes off his guy to our RB.
The left side of CMU line are the guys who made the play.

Nelson gets ejected across the field by the right end on a slant.

I checked. That guy is 5-11 235

Donaldson loafs around soft as a marshmallow and blocks no one.

It’s a run blitz the entire line slanted left. They had 4 in the box. Who the fudge does Anos think we are Alabama?

If you look at play design, Zion and TE is to down block on 3tech and right end and with OG OC pull play side.
They did it right, the 3tech just blew through the gap so dam fast Gaynor and Donaldson had to go all the way around.
**** happens.
This is more on a great d play then a bad offensive play.
I dont particularly like the design or timing of the call, but they did as they were told.

That play was all on play calling. I think every lineman was pulling to opposite sides except for Clark who was searching for a lb to hit (he didn’t find one).

Ridiculous. I think Gaynor might’ve tripped bc Zion and Brevin we’re pushing their guys behind him.

All around **** show

Wrong! Gaynor was BEATEN on his block! No ifs, buts or hUh. FWIW... Gaynor was beaten quite a bit against mighty Carolina Blue, too. dUh He also FAILED to pick up a blitzer at least three times against Carolina Blue. SMH

Gaynor was one of the top centers in FL his senior year and Donaldson was a 4 star that everyone wanted. Try again.

Well, Donaldson HASN'T live up to that Four-Star HS rating. Also, the guy is SERIOUSLY overweight! And I'll give him this benefit of doubt; he hasn't exactly had above-average offensive line coaches lately. Nevertheless, I want to see how Donaldson, and the rest of the line, perform against Foster's Va Tech defense. Then Cane fandom will get a better reading on how the season plays out.

You are correct. I went back and edited my post before seeing this one. Gaynor gets pushed into Zion so Zion falls but still clears his guy out

i think he's talking about guys like nelson and clark as "hidden gems"

assuming gaynor and ND were not overrated, then WTF happened along the way?

Did McElwain coach against Enos when McElwain was at UF? When Enos was at Arkansas?

Thats what happens when some of your OL are hidden gems mixed with bad evals mixed with bad coaching.

Disaster
I think Donaldson goes to a team like UGA and right now he's a draft pick. Gaynor should have redshirted and be backing up a SR right now. Nelson, LOL. Scaife should be getting burn during blow outs. Most of these guys should still be behind JRs & SRs looking like the future. Instead after Searels & Barry, we are this year's FSU.

Its why i said some....even if guys have stars which i do look at i look at how they are recruited by tge best coaches. Like a Gurvan Hall he was a plan A from Saban and he plays like it. To me offer list says something but a full court press by a proven elite HC says more to me.
