Beat it Troll. You are delusional. The coaching staff is the reason we lose plain and simple.

Blame the staff as much as your heart desires, Golden is a good coach. He's got a great pedigree. If the team wins less than 8 games this year, sure, can him. Losing to an undefeated, top 15 FSU team by less than a touchdown IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

No but it's a culmination of the past five years.
But hey if you want to give allowances to Al Golden that no other UM HC coach has received for your personal reasons.....all the best to you.

I don't like fans speaking before the season is over. Obviously, undefeated seasons are what we want to see. This Miami team is talented enough to win the ACC. I believe.

Beating Cinci shouldn't have been too tough a task either. It's over, and he knows it.

Don't think it's over just yet. If they lose 3 more games, yeah. If they lose to Clemson and win out, he's revered by Miami fans.

You are in love with some Al Golden.
That's why I think you are a troll. No rational human being could be that in love with Al Golden.

What game were you watching?

I watched a resilient Miami team who played hard until the very end. Defense wasn't totally up to par. Kaaya played spectacular. No run game. Can't blame Golden for an outclassed O-Line.

Kinda like last year right? How did that work out for us?

If Miami wins 9 games this year, then what happens? I feel like there's not a significant level of ability within the programs etween them and any other teams in the ACC, sans Clemson. Feel like this Miami team will turn heads.

9 games ain't going to get us in the Coastal. Even if it did we will likely need to beat Pitt at night in a 15 degree wind chill. What in the last 10 years would lead you to believe we will not choke?

It was talented enough to win more than 6 games last year. It was talented enough to beat Cinci. It was talented enough to beat F$U.

I live in Pittsburgh. I'd guarantee a win. This Pitt football team is a disaster. I'd be surprised to see them win vs GT. Honestly.

Ummm Can you spell Cincinnati? Al spent years studying FSU and his team lost. You really think he going to win with only a week before other teams. He went all in on FSU and got pasted with 200 plus yards rushing. You don't think GT has spent a year studying our run defense and how to exploit it? Clemson as well? We will be making adjustments against both teams when they are already up 21 points. And anyne who thinks Jimbo didn't run a dive play on 4th and one to keep Al on the job is delusional.

I'm not a troll, I just think for a guy that's this passionate about the team, he deserves some respect. The guy was almost crying at the presser last night because of a loss to a top ranked opponent. Obviously he doesn't want to lose. He loves this program.

So was last years......and remind me what happened?
**** why even go ACC....how about talent enough not to lose to Cincinnati.
Are we talented enough for that?

Is Al Golden responsible for anything at all during his five year tenure?

Golden hasn't done the job he hoped to do, or Miami fans hoped he'd do. He's not a terrible coach. He's too loyal to his D-Coord. That's all true. Why count out this Miami team? It's a new year, maybe they surprise you. If they beat Clemson, I guarantee everyone backs off.

Why is he so passionate about this team?
Was he also this passionate about this team when he tried to sneak out to Penn State?
Randy Shannon didn't want to lose and he really loved this program...why is that relevant?
What exactly makes you think Al loves this program again?

The overlap between chromosome missing mouth breathers and Golden supporters is staggering.

I don't feel like Golden deserves all this ****. If Michigan State fired their coach after a few years of mediocrity and crappy bowl game losses, they'd be set back years. Let Golden coach without the pressure for once.

You mean years 1-4!

FOH!!

"Let Golden coach w/o the pressure for once"; what are we in grade school??! The man is making $2+ Million a year. Guess what? That's a lot of money to not perform at leveled expectation. We gave him a chance to get rid of No D, he refused. It's his decision, therefore he's responsible.

This is a grown man's game...if he can't handle the pressure then get the F out of the kitchen. We ain't Temple...****, we ain't Mich St! We're Miami...better known as THE U!

You have 3 things to do here as a coach:

1) Lock Down So Fla
2) Beat FSU
3) Win Your Conference

When u do the first 3 usually number 4 follows:

4) compete for/win national titles

Golden didn't lock down So Fla....even crapped on some recruits. He has not beat FSU...and even though we play in the weakest division out of the Power 5 conferences, and have out recruited everyone in it by a long shot, we have not won our conference.

His record as a coach is deplorable. We're not a well coach team. You saw what happened to Michigan when they got a real coach? UF? FSU? Bama? Houston? Coaching matters, and all of Golden's decision have left us unprepared, and unmotivated to achieve greatness.

His message to these players was "deserve victory". Bull; u don't deserve victory, u earn it...and that's y fans like u get on my nerves. U have now accepted moral victories, "team unity" as a means to justify ineptitude. This team has the mentality of its coach; and unfortunately some of u so-called fans have developed that same mentality b/c ur so used to losing that anything "positive" is to be applauded. Shame on u, and shame on ur post for remotely suggesting this tire fire is not Golden's fault. This is "his" team, and all decisions, both on and off the field are under his direction; therefore, he owns this train wreck.
