Things to watch at the spring game

- Jarren Williams v. N'Kosi Perry. Williams is coming on strong. He was the story of last week's scrimmage. Will Perry bounce back? He needs confidence, and a big performance at the Rock would go a long way to restoring it. Also, will Weldon play? He's missed the past few practices with an eye infection. If Weldon plays, opportunities will be spread thin.

- Will Donaldson hold down RT? In last week's scrimmage, RT was a turnstile. Richt ended up moving Donaldson there. How will he hold up against freaks like Garvin and Rousseau?

- The battle for the second corner spot. We know what Michael Jackson can do. The second corner spot has been a dogfight between Jhavonte Dean and Trajan Bandy, with the young bucks DJ Ivey and GIlbert Frierson making a push. Diaz will be watching to see who can make plays and (just as importantly) tackle once the lights come on.

- Lorenzo Lingard. We know he's the most explosive runner Miami has had in years. Can he prove he can break tackles and maintain contact balance at the next level?

I appreciate the enthusiasm as usual D$

But it's tough when a college has a fan base that is nationwide and doesn't seem to acknowledge them.

Things to watch? or Things to listen about after the fact unless U live in SoFla? I'm still confused as to what the administration is trying to do with the "spring games".

I dislike that it’s not televised either. Kids watch Spring Games and having the most exposure nationwide, to today’s kids can help with recruiting. They get to see **** near all the power 5 schools minus ours.

I’ll look forward to reading the reports from those of you who are going though.

I’m curious to see how this 4-2-5 is gonna look. Derrick Smiff is gonna breakout this year. And let’s see if Searels can figure something out.

I think CMR just wants to downplay this a bit. Still so many questions in so many positions... And maybe he doesn't want to advertise everything we have. IDK. It hasn't really been talked up on campus but my daughter (who graduated in 2016) said it never was in the years she was there, either.

I don't personally care about it being on tv but I would have liked to at least watch online since I live in NY!

Hope all of you that go can post some updates for the rest of us!!! And pics!

There it is, simply stream it on line for those who want to watch, we need to be in the spotlight as much as possible.

I just want to hear about progress with the o-line.
I do too.
But this is what is very tricky about spring games. If the OL looks good then people will be complaining about the DL not looking good.
So I am expecting to hear/read about he OL looking good on some plays but looking horrible on some plays too just based on Jess Simpson and company wanting them to ball out.

I cannot believe in 2018 we won't be able to watch it anywhere but in person.

It’s a real bad look , quite the Fu to the fans that live outside of Sfla. Like you said , it’s 2018”. No excuse.
