And then you use the word "reportedly" to reference some random comment that Donna SUPPOSEDLY said. And even if she said what YOU CLAIM (and I have never heard anyone associated with UM report this "quote" in 20 years), the statement has nothing to do with Donna wanting to "diminish" the football team. You said "expressed intent" to diminish, while her "reportedly supposedly" quote (if it ever even happened) simply was a question as to why the University of Miami isn't as well known on its own.

Look, just be honest, everything you wrote is based on things people told you. Same as your comments about the Athletic Department budget. "It is my understanding". FROM WHAT? From what some right-wing conspiracy theorist tells you?

Donna made mistakes, particularly with the Med School (and hospital purchase) and the sale of certain UM assets (particularly South Campus).

But your nonsense on Donna "funneling money" through the Athletic Department (or "laundering" as it would be called in legal terms) is a bridge that is way, way too far. As is your commentary that treats a non-existent "report" as some factual actuality, even though you can't and won't prove it to anyone, preferring instead to pontificate on how we will "never see the report" which has never been released to the general public and never reported on by the (presumably liberal) press.

Yeah, it's all just a bunch of nonsense. But because I can't grasp "the Clinton crime syndicate", you "can't even have a conversation about it" with me.

Some random comments regarding your post above:

*. The report is real. If you're connected at the level you claim, ask around. Find your own info. At best I assume you'll be told something about it but it will be down-played. Believe me or not (your call) but the report was real and it happened.


As for the Clinton Crime syndicate, if you think Im throwing my credibility away by naming this organization then I go back to what I already posted, you and I cannot have this conversation. Again, it has ZERO to do with politics. Its just a mafia-like organization that engages in criminal activity at the highest levels. Do your own research.

As for the money donna funneled through the AD, I did NOT claim or even insinuate that donna was laundering this money. She genuinely added spending to the AD during her time. My guess is that your political leanings are affecting your ability to see the data here.

Look, I have asked plenty of questions about Shalala, and there is no report that says what you claim it says.

So we'll make this simple, since you are certain the report exists, and you know what it says. Post ONE PARAGRAPH. ****, you can post ONE SENTENCE, the one that says she ran things like a slush fund. You can't. You won't.

Finally, as for your consistent political word choice, don't try to turn this around on me. YOU used the term "funneling money through the Athletic Department". You are now trying to play innocent and say that Donna "genuinely added spending to the Athletic Department during her time". You pretend that this is such an open and well known secret, yet nobody has filed a single indictment against any such "syndicate".

Just because you say things...does not make them true. If you had any actual evidence at all, you could easily hand it over to someone in law enforcement who would love to bring down Clinton or Shalala.

And that isn't political.

So, you have zero proof, you refuse to provide proof, we're supposed to research proof that doesn't exist, and we should just believe everything you say based on the absolutism with which you express your claims.

Look, if you really cared about this, and you really believed that people should have the truth, and if you really believed that all of us are not as good at using google as you are, you would very simply provide the information so that the rest of us could see it, believe it, and stop laboring under our delusions.

And why do conspiracy theorists always seem to believe that if they tell us that Soylent Green "is people", that we will just not listen to them and keep eating people? Look, I've voted for both Republicans and Democrats, I am not beholden to either party, if you have proof of your claims, feel free to provide it and then maybe more of us can make sure that justice is done.

Its tough to walk away from an AD role. Much cushier than head football coach. lol

I do remember seeing a piece on ESPN featuring Barry Alvarez (as AD) and his new football coach (the guy who left for Arkansas). They showed that Barry Alvarez was still very active in the football program and sat in on the daily coaches meetings, would have daily one on one meetings with the head coach, etc. He was probably enjoying the best of both worlds at that point.

So speaking for myself when news came of promotion would embrace it and rally the team to support him and play also for him.

The team would and should understand he never was a newbie HC and would need as much support the first year.

But apparently here we turned on him and sat an watched him suffer fighting ALONE to keep things together struggling at press conferences lights flashing ALONE with no TEAM behind him as he tried to spin plates.

Manny has character I see in his struggle and when he turns for support NO ONE is there waving the Cane banner if team support.

We he’s learning now TEAM is only talk now it LEFT this squad years ago and NOT MANY want to face the struggles of rebuilding.

He probably had to FIGHT to get approval to fire Enos and fight to play games with GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS QB AND PLAYERS.
