2016 Miami was ranked 10th going up against the 23rd ranked Seminoles.
Oh yeah a barely top 25 FSU team and a #10 Miami who really wasn’t ranked #10 at all and still lost. All I’m saying is that this rivalry is not where it used to be compared to the history on a national stage. There has been no consistency for both schools.

Sure, but the fact still stands that it was an undefeated Miami team(again, ranked 10th at the time) going up against an FSU team who had already beaten #3 Ole Miss that year. It was definitely a game relevant on the national stage just 3 years ago. ****, 2017 was considered huge cuz Miami went into the game at 3-0 after winning their first bowl game since '06 the year prior, while FSU had what people considered a fluke lost to NCST and played Bama close until Frenchy got injured. Plus they still had Jimbo Fisher. Last year was literally the first year where FSU lost their respect, where Miami was on the way up and the favorite to challenge Clemson. 2018 ended poorly but going into that game, and the 2 years prior, going INTO the game was not considered a pillow fight.

You can't talk business sense into most of the posters on this site. They think "Durrr, ACC is a P5 so more people watch" and don't understand media markets. The AAC has the potential to make a lot more money with streaming services than the ACC, which is locked into a mediocre deal with ABC/ ESPN. The ACC network is going to be a huge flop as well.
Wrong, ACC Network going to blow up come basketball season.
