We could be on a 35 game winning streak, we still aren't selling out games against a D2 team. We couldn't sell out Big East games during the 2001 season. Love the team and hate the coaches. None of that changes that we have the crappiest fan base of any team that has won championships in the last 30 years. There is teams that have never been good with better fans.

Everyone knows we don't have the best fan base. What's your point of reiterating that? The fact that remains is if we have a better coach(es) that puts a better product on the field, more fans will eventually show up.

Stop complaining about the unis. they are easily BY FAR the best we've had since 01. Even those were made great by how good the actual team performed.
Personally I don't really care at all for the fact that Adidas just has to make everything on the uniform shiny, I'd much prefer the numbers and everything being sewn on and not shiny, but they still look good. The only thing really bad about the unis was the font on the back, and any future helmet change they are likely to make.

Yeah, but it only works for MIAMI. The R's look absolutely retarded, as do the W and Y's, and plenty others. Why are half the letters capital, and the other half lower case. It's just stupid.

Clemson is a state school for starters, but before Tommy Bowden arrived, they had trouble filling up their stadium, routinely having 20-25,000 empty seats for Duke or bad OOC games, and even 15-20,000 empty seats for ranked UNC or UVA in the mid to late 90s. They'd only get over 70,000 for FSU and USC. They've been good for the last 15 years (and really good for the last 5) and they sellout almost every game. Of course their fans are better than ours, but they weren't drawing 80,000 for 1-AA teams when they were 3-8, more like 50,000. That's still impressive, but they have a much bigger fanbase locally to draw from. They also have 22,000 students, almost all from South Carolina, and 17,000 of them are undergrads.
