One I haven't seen in quite some time. Not talking about typical in game trash talk. This was the kind of game I remember from our '80s teams. True swag, where you just know what you got and know its better. Not saying we're there yet, but absolutely positively on the right track. Like I've been saying, sky's the limit for this season.

It was personal.

The game felt personal.

It didn't seem like we were playing, it felt & looked like we were NOT playing... Meaning, UF thought they were just gonna show up & have a nice fun game, but didn't realize we had other plans.

It was one of those, "Yeah I just slapped you, wtf you gon do about it?!?" type games.

We were focused & stoic in our approach. Just walked into BHG, knocked over all their lamps, rearranged their furniture, raided their fridge & dared them to do something about it.

We made them uncomfortable in their own house.

There was a nastiness in Santo Mario.

Seemed to just exude "this is personal".

Not just towards the gaytes, but all of it.

Defensively, I was blown away by Baron. Elite rush skills and closes with bad intentions. I also loved the energy Alston played with. Guys like Mesidor and Barrow were active and I can't wait to see these guys with Bain.

On the back end, we have 2 physical corners in Brown and Richard who don't shy away from contact. Porter was quietly excellent with the exception of one PI.

Gators might not be as good as expected at the skill positions. But they are built like an SEC team top to bottom in the trenches. And we went in there and manhandled them. We have had teams for the past 20 years full of smoke and mirrors because we had some skill positions that could win a few games. Now we truly have a foundation built from the inside out. Mario’s blue print is now on this team. For all that you that patiently waited the last two years, enjoy the ride my friends.

Physical , nasty ,confidence , professionalism , mixed with a maturity. All traits I want in my football team and my lady.

This you at Whole Foods on Archer this week?

Today’s game was what Jacory wanted to do when he stepped off the plane in Columbus wearing a d@mn sweater vest. But he might as well have tripped and fallen w/ his first step. Lol

Agreed- this game felt purposeful, confident, and nasty. It looks like this team has substance.

Dare I say it?

They played with swagger
That’s real swagger. It’s not dancing , talking **** , strutting. It’s doing that after kicking the man’s *** in front of you. While knowing your assignment and playing smart . The great Miami teams were full of some of the smartest , high IQ ball players ever. What we’ve been seeing the last decade and a half was fake swagger. Players thinking wearing a U is all it takes.

Not to be ****y but I knew this was coming all week. I texted @k9cane , @Udynasty , @IndayArtHauz all week I had a quiet confidence that I haven’t had in awhile. I wore Cane polos or shirts every day this week to work. Even when I had **** talk I’d smile back and say “ I know you don’t believe that , we’re just better on both lines”. They knew I was right too lol, I could see it in their eyes.

The flags will be flying high this week.
