You said it all.. they aren't even bowl eligible. Should easily be the end of discussion.I mean they aren't even bowl eligible. I'd rather see a team that played all year and had the results. If Indiana wins the BIG they should get a chance to play. ****, I'd even take an outside look at CCU

Dammit.. didn't know that. I guess everybody gets a trophy this year. Well osu can visit the We Didn't Play Enough Games Bowl and play somebody from the pac12.![]()
Report: All FBS teams immediately bowl eligible for 2020
All FBS teams playing this fall will be immediately bowl eligible as the NCAA approved a no-win requirement to play in postseason games, sources told Stadium's Brett McMurphy. There will be 127 programs playing football in 2020, but only 78 of them are needed to fill 39 bowl games, McMurphy...www.thescore.com
They’re gonna put osu in the Canadian Football League? Good. F’ em.The point is the committee isn’t going to put a team in the CFL that didn’t qualify to play in its own championship
The way it’s going I’d rather have the BCS back and just let top 4 teams play. Was a whole lot more analytic than letting these old *** folks, some associated with schools and conferences to just throw **** based upon eye test and stars on roster or being allowed to put any ranking out to boost a ****** conference like Big 12 because they jumped on first like ACC and SEC.For those wondering if OSU can get into the CFP having played just 5 games and no BIG10CG, the answer right now appears to be yes. If that were to happen there should be a revolt from the other schools!

You read right...kind of.Funny everyone's bowl eligible but i read somewhere a 9 win liberty team isnt
Yeah i read something other day briefly about it. Ashame if they cant play a bowlYou read right...kind of.
Liberty IS Bowl eligible, but they don’t have a bowl tie-in so they COULD be left out.
Not all - the last time OSU didn't make the conference title game but still made the CFP, Penn St won the division and conference and went to the Rose and not the CFPIn all those previous scenarios the conference champion also made the playoffs. NW or Indiana ain’t making the playoffs
Fields isn't all that just like the rest of the OSU QBs have shown. The best one they had they let walk.OSU gets in because everyone wants a matchup between Trevor and Justin.
Projected #2 pick in the draftFields isn't all that just like the rest of the OSU QBs have shown. The best one they had they let walk.
Lol
CFP is becoming just as a joke as The NCAA. I’m all for ******** Taint; but like I just told my homie, the CFP do what the d they want. Remember a couple yrs ago, they took a Bama team who didn’t even win their conference or division over OSU w/ one loss & The B1G champion. That’s when I knew the CFP just be on some other bull chit (even though Bama did win the title that yr)
Even though Bama didn’t play for their conference championship, it was easy to see they were one of the four best teams. Just like the CFP’s inaugural year, they got flack for putting OSU in. I agreed with that and actually won a lot of money betting them against Bama.
This year isn’t that though. Playing 5 games against bad teams, hasn’t proved anything. Last year doesn’t mean anything. There are no logical arguments, that show they are one of the best 4 teams. There best win is by 7 points, to a team who hasn’t beaten anybody either.
Corona isn’t going away. Who’s to say next year, teams won’t pull an FSU against their best opponent to angle their way to an undefeated record? We could’ve done that with Clemson.
I second your astute opinion! So U'all can STOP with all the why's and what not's regarding mighty Ohio St. and the major CFB playoffs! Now.Only way OSU gets left out is if UF some how beats Bama or Clemson loses to ND again
Yeah I still can’t believe they just let Tate go like thatFields isn't all that just like the rest of the OSU QBs have shown. The best one they had they let walk.
Yep, it's bull****. 4 best Power 5 Conference Champions should compete for it.Oh I get you; but the premise was to put the Conference Champions in the CFP. The ? was how do u put a team in the CFP who didn’t even win its own division or conference? Then the narrative changed, that year, that the committee’s responsibility was to put in the four best teams, “regardless” of them playing for their conference championship or not.
So now that they’ve made a statement saying there r no min. games required to qualify; I’m like they are moving the goal post, again, to fit whatever conclusion they feel.
I mean, it is what it is, but I feel that it’s a human version of the BCS where u can’t quite tell which way things will go.
