There is a 0% Chance that a spread offense will have us competing with Clemson for the ACC title

There are many factors that influence where a QB is selected in the draft. Rodgers was suppose to be selected in the top 10, but dropped into the 20's. T.L also plays on a much better team than the players that I named as well. You're giving T.L credit for Clemson's overall team success which is ridiculous. How does T.L compare to the players that I named statistically? He's not ever better than Deshaun Watson despite having way more talent around him. T.L has NFL bust written all over him.

TL throws the ball close to 61.4mph, which would be the second-fastest throw (62 being the fastest) at the NFL combine since they started tracking. Considering TL is only 20 years old, one should expect his velocity to continue to increase.

TL has slightly better stats than Watson.

Ok. Let's see what he does next wk

Get back to me when TL gets to ditacte to the NFL what team drafts him and where he is gonna play..
You might be a little young to remember the draft of 1983 with John Elway.. Then you had Peyton "Omaha" Manning

The 1983 draft way before my time but obviously Elway had a legendary arm but his college stats don't compare to TL. A lot has changed in college since 1983 and that is to TL benefit.

Clemson has arguably the greatest QB in the history of college football. Whoever starts two years from now at Clemson won't be as good as Lawerance. If we can beat everyone else then recruiting will get better and we will be able to compete with Clemson.
Look who they have waiting on the bench..After Lawrence leaves Clemson’s offense won’t miss a beat

If Trevor doesn't lose against LSU then he will be a three year starting QB who never lost in college. There is no doubt that Trevor will be the first pick in the draft. Which player in modern CFB history has that resume?
Michael Bishop for Kansas State only lost 1 college game I believe...

Update: as you were, he lost 3 games

Why are we talking Clemson? I just want another 10 win season and maybe a coastal title or two.

This really did not require a new thread, Anyone with two brain cells knows this shirshow can only end in one way and that is a diazster.
We are SO screwed. Worst shape this program has ever been, including the Shapiro mess. It’s unbelievable bad, worse than hopeless. Thanks Blake James.

That is so backwards. Manny didn't create a culture in one year the same way Matt Rhule didn't change a thing in one year.

Opinions vary but results do not....Manny has no good results to fall back on. He does have touchdown rings, to chains and multiple losses to cupcake teams. Even Al Golden didnt have that.

they had Watson & Boyd before Lawrence and just got another 5 Star commit with 5 Sta coaching

we will never beat Clemson with current roster or coaching

we just lost to fiu lol Andrew

Greatest QB yet no heisman

Manny Diaz and the New Miami is the disease... encouraging players to dance on the sidelines after losing to FIU while losing to Duke. New Turnover chains every year, bs TD rings that the players hate.

There is a 0% chance that a spread offense is going to have us competing with Clemson for the ACC title under this staff. At best we will finally be able to beat the FIUs and LaTechs of the cfb world.

Blake is struggling to find an OC that wants the job because they know they will be looking for another job at the end of next season. Manny’s 2020 season will be his last and hopefully Blake’s as well.

Manny's coddling of the defensive staff is the root of his shortcomings as a head coach. He needs to remove himself from a coordinator's level of responsibility and put people in place who are capable of functioning independently. His allegiance to Baker is pathetic and erodes the integrity of TNM or whatever he's trying to build over there. The offense has hope because he clearly has no conflict about firing people on that side of the ball but, when you "fix" that, he's still going to have the same weak staff and dodgy product on defense. Manny simply needs to go and so does Bake James. Neither of them are capable of performing their jobs at the level to be expected at the []__[], now or in the near future.

Julio Frenk is the one who needs to make a change, but at this stage that doesn't seem like it's going to happen. I imagine it would take a critical mass of BOTs to ask for Blake's removal but it doesn't seem like there's enough cohesion or outage at the board level either.

Here are Cam Newton's stats

Cam also had 1473 yards rushing with 20 rushing TDs that same season. 1 TD receiving as well. One of the best single season performances in cfb history. Joe Burrow will be near the top of that list as well if he beats Clemson.

In terms of career I agree... If Trevor Lawrence beats LSU, he will have arguably the best cfb career by a QB in history but in terms of being the best QB period that’s debatable.

No one on the defensive side of the ball can recruit. A legitimate HC would fire somebody just because of that.
