BYU loss / Alabama win -- Miami is in
BYU loss / UGA win -- ND is in
BYU win / Alabama win -- Miami and ND are both out
BYU win / UGA win -- Miami and ND are both out

As silly as it is to say Alabama holds our fate in its hands, I believe it to be true. Could be wrong. Have been wrong before, will be wrong again. But our best, and probably only, hope to get into this dance is the Top 9 holding firm, BYU ejecting its way out, and then the committee is forced to stare at ND 10, Miami 11....and we'll flip with the head to head.

Last time this happened, they ****ed up and lost to Okla.

I'm convinced this **** is fixed. Id bet we see that this weekend in the CGs

I’d add Duke winning would help too bc the committee doesn’t want the backlash leaving the ACC completely out

If BYU and Duke win, they have no path to put Miami/ACC in. So it can happen.

Unless you tell me Duke wins and jumps all these G5 teams that win
 
Question if BYU loses and Bama win, wouldn't they just use the excuse of:
10. ND
11. Virginia/Tulane
12. Tulane/JMU
13. Miami

Since now the conference champions have been decided wouldn't they take 11/12 for this week and thus not have ND and Miami side by side?

No..those teams don't actually get ranked that high.

They just get the 11/12 seeds when the brackets are made.

They're not actually ranked 11/12. They're still ranked appropriately where they should be ranked.
