They played 2 SEC teams and 2 Big10 teams, they get a residual benefit from the SEC/Big10 circle jerk inflated SOS metrics.

It's nearly impossible for any of these teams to be ranked below the 50th% in SOS

We're yelling because Miami and Notre Dame finished with identical records, nearly identical metrics across the board, and Miami beat Notre Dame head to head, but the committee is ignoring all criteria and just saying "eyeball test." And for all the other teams in the ranking, the winner of H2H is ranked ahead of the team they beat despite far inferior metrics. So people are yelling because the committee is ignoring its own rules for one specific situation only- putting Notre Dame above Miami. Also, you are an idiot for not understanding the basic concept of competitive sports and that head to head should always be the #1 factor in tiebreakers.

Bill is a funny guy. He has to do this because he refuses to reckon with the fact that his own rankings (SP+ & resumeSP+) illustrate how absurd it is to rank Bama and Oklahoma ahead of Miami.

We are 9th in SP+ & 11th in resumeSP+. Bama is 12th and 15th. Oklahoma is 13th and 16th.

We lost to the 27th and 30th ranked teams in SP+. 35th and 36th in resumeSP+. Since Bill loves to focus on losses rather than H2H wins, please help me understand how those losses are worse than Bama's? FSU is 43rd in SP+ & 71st in resumeSP+. Oklahoma is 13th in SP+ & 16th in resumeSP+. Our losses our no worse than Bama's, and his own metrics rank us higher.
