Duke would be penalized for having beat no one in the ACC with a heartbeat.

You really aren’t up on recent events, I can see.
 
I need to be reminded who has Utah beat for them to be given the benefit of the doubt to stay in the playoffs/not be dropped down after that horrific defensive performance if how a team plays is seriously considered and not only applied to Miami

10-2 BYU last year had a better resume than 11-1 BYU this year. Last year they beat SMU and lost to Arizona state in the regular season. Their loss to Kansas kept them ranked below three 9-3 SEC schools who weren’t punished for bad losses lol
