Interesting. And in a 6 team 6-2 tiebreaker, we would get duke in Charlotte. Unofficially of course bc of that ratings formula.
I could live with that...

When that happens, hit “refresh” again and then scroll down to the comment box and your unfinished post will be there.Sorry I didn’t get to finish my post because this site is weird and randomly refreshes. I don’t consider any of our losses “bad losses” at all. Louisville and SMU likely finish the season with 8-9 wins. It’s unrealistic to expect us to steamroll everyone every week. I mean, Vandy doesn’t. Oklahoma doesn’t. Ole Miss doesn’t. You get my point.
These talking ESPN assclowns with their vibrating SEC buttplugs continue to skew the rankings and the system to benefit the good ole boys. You’re never going to convince me Vandy, Oklahoma, or even Alabama has a better resume than we currently do. Ole Miss trailed UF for 3 quarters. Texas got their *** kicked by UF. Yet the media doesn’t talk about this, they’re hyper focused on our two terrible no good very bad 3 point losses to teams who were ranked at some point this season. The system is rigged. I’m tired of it,
Best case scenario IMO
you mean like last season? The OP seems very intelligent. He makes a lot of great points. But here’s my moronic take, if we finish 10-2, we should get in. I don’t care about how the dominoes fall. 2 close losses and one heavily influenced by bad zebras.
AU is not even sniffing Bama.I think the most realistic help here is:
Cincy to beat BYU
Mizzou to beat OK
TN to beat Vandy
possibly auburn beating bama
we didn't have a big win, and we lost 2 of last 3, unlike potentially winning last 4you mean like last season?
We have nobody to blame but ourselves. It sucks but that is the truth. Just win out and let the chips fall where they may.Just so demoralizing we are in the position yet again. No one in the ACC has a roster even close to as talented as ours. We are going to be the highest ranked team in the conference and may not even be in the ACC CG.
It is, but we will then be depending on the VA to lose to VT. We would be left out otherwise.
**** that **** ain't even a rivalry lmaoHasn't VaTech beaten UVa every time they have played in Blacksburg since 1998?
Don't rule out VaTech winning again.

that rivalry is just crazy anything can happenAU is not even sniffing Bama.
Missouri can beat OUWe needed Alabama to do the one thing they’ve done for a decade straight, win lol
Mizzou will have a tough time scoring enough to do that. But would be coolMissouri can beat OU
That feels overly confident. Auburn has played every legitimate SEC opponent tough this year. Their largest margin of defeat is 10 points and the offense looked a bit different against Vandy. Bama will be the favorite, but the spread might not be double digits.AU is not even sniffing Bama.
It’s crazy cause earlier this week I felt the narrative was “win out” and you’re in the CFP.Listen, we may win out and be left out. But anybody saying that is definitely going to happen, doesn't watch or understand the history of college football. You just have to take care of your business and see if everyone else takes care of theirs. See what happens.
So basically if Miami wins out with a 10-2 record and no ACCCG, we’re not getting into the CFP?
Assuming there are no more upsets in front of us.
