literally look it up my friend. a conf title doesn't give you an AQ. you require a conf title for an AQ. they do not have take an ACC team if they dont. believe anyone Is worthy of a top 12 ranking (hence why duke would get left off if they won the conf)

whoever loses the ACCCG with any record is out at this point, unless it’s GT after beating Pitt and UGA.

Those five AQs are dependent on how the CFP selection committee ranks conference champions in the top 25.

If pittsburgh beats GT; then there will be a 3-5 way tiebreaker between Miami, SMU, GT, Pittsburgh, and Duke. No guarantee that GT still makes the ACC-CCG.

The won’t, because we have a common opponent who we beat and they lost to. Also, we’d have more wins. There also not beating A&M

you are misunderstanding. they wouldn’t have taken Duke if there were 2 other conference champions from G5 conferences ranked higher than Duke.

USF losing today basically made that virtually an impossible scenario, G5 might not even get one conference champion ranked higher than the ACC champ.

They would need two.

The 5 highest rated conference champs are guaranteed a spot. The next seven spots are decided from there. Odds are the ACC chamo(if it’s not us) and the G5 champ will be outside the top 12. Meaning we’d have to be ranked 10th to qualify as an at large.

we will be ranked within the top 10 going 10-2.

the rankings dont have to go in order. they can flip them how they want literally one week to the next.

they go with the hot teams that end the season, I think win the next 2 like today, no brainier? I think if we do that we are in.

example FSU F@g team undefeated but couldn't pull away from the eye test to end the season once Travis Jordan got hurt - they failed and came up short

eye test is crucial next 2 games

Again, teams like Vandy are considered good, why? Want to go check Tennessee's OOC schedule? Their best OOC win is against a terrible Syracuse team. Their other OOC wins are NM State, East Tenn State, and UAB. Then, it's all SEC smoke and mirrors.

Vandy's OOC is just as bad. Their big OOC win was against a pathetic VT team. Their other OOC games? Charleston Southern, Utah State, and Georgia State. I'm not impressed, at all.

it still won’t matter, the ACC champ of GT/UVA/SMU isn’t getting ranked below TWO G5 conference champs.

our best shot is to win out and get an at large by jumping a few teams. we aren’t going to get the ACC’s “spot” unless we somehow back into the title game.
