MEGA There’s Still Hope for the ACCCG/CFB Playoffs Mega Merge Thread

Somebody fact check me, but if we don’t make the playoffs, then we are the only team to win 10 regular season games during the last two years without making the playoffs in either year.

Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon, Georgia, and ND won 10 regular season games in each of the last 2 years. Every single one of those teams made the playoffs in each of the last two years.

We won 10 games in each the last two years as well, except we may not make the playoffs once.

Anti Miami Bias and being in the ACC where losing to a good team in SMU drops you 10+ spots but losing a worse team in Mizzou is a “quality” loss cause “SEC!”

Historically a CC championship loss was not held against the team.. especially not the SEC

I think we get the nod over byu but the committee isn’t going to bump out the sec championship loser.

In fact we actually want ND to win. The only real reason we'd jump BYU this week is if it's to rank us ahead of ND tbh. And then you'd get well should Texas or Vandy jump us... Our strong win against ND is what we are banking on for us to make the At-large....

This is a brutal take, but if you are that ACC Commissioners, who do you value more, the Dadeland Mall Kiosk Salesman team who you know is going to get ignored by the CFP or Miami, who you would much rather see in your Championship.

Does anyone have any idea what this Canes team would do to Duke in an ACCCG? They might score 7 points, just because it's Manny and they might let him score a TD for Old Times' Sake and to prove that there's No Hard Feelings.

And to not have to play any of the top 4 in the ACC. Only ACC win against a team over 500 in conference is...................... Nobody. Their schedule got them to Charlotte(and a bunch of dumb losses by ACC teams)

They played UVA and GT.

And we only have 1 win over teams over .500 in the ACC lmao.

Were 1-1 vs over .500 ACC teams and 5-1 against the others.

I really think that if Duke wins the acc and they’re ranked lower than than a G5 conf winner that G5 team gets in under the highest ranked bowl winner bids and that also meets the guaranteed G5 team getting in which would open up one more slot. Miami jumps byu and Miami and ND are both in.
