Sorry if this has been mentioned…

Only way I see us getting in is:
Bama loses to UGA in SECCG
BYU loses to TTU in BIG12CG

If those happen, I don’t see how you keep us out. That’s a 3 loss Bama team and a 2 loss BYU team with no big wins

Although I just know they won’t penalize Bama for losing SECCG. They’ll probably move them up to 8 this week so when they do lose, they only drop to 12. Just crazy it has to come to this when ND is sitting right there with an identical record and we beat them H2H.
 
Sooo Trumpycane wonders if Duke wins ACC but they aren’t ranked and there are only 4 ranked conference champions why happens

BYU is a non issue imo - I think we jump them.

Let’s face it, we’re sunk. Our hopes were pinned on absolutely putrid offenses and quarterbacks.

And I don’t think bama will get penalized for losing the SECCG unless they get blown out.

Our only (realistic) hope is if ND sleep walks through Stanford game and only beats them by 7-10 points. Then maybe we have a chance to jump them.

I know I’ve been drinking BUT…the committee has to want us in now. We are guaranteed eyeballs regardless of opponent. Heck figure out how to put us in vs. the Irish. Everybody wins*

I see it opposite. Bama wins SEC, passes ND. We pass BYU. Then its ND 10 Miami 11 and how do you ignore h2h then.
 
If Duke wins won’t g5 highest ranked champion get in under bowl winner and that opens another slot?

There’s no way the SECC loser doesn’t get in.

Could see that. But I feel like precedent is set. They will ignore H2H. Especially if Love wins the Heisman. I don’t see a scenario where we are in and ND is not if we have identical records. Would need them to fall out via loss tonight (unlikely) or us to jump teams. That’s why I’m hoping for a UGA massacre against Bama in the SECCG.
