looked like he was grabbing his hip or glute at one point, might have been the first official incompletion

Yeah, wonder if he just knew it was open and couldn’t help himself, but missed the long one which he never does (I think because he was a little injured.)
 
I think he got a lil rattled with some pressures, Wake was bringing pressures and Dawson didnt trust oline/Mirabal not having adequate change and BOTH his third down RB OUT to pick up blitz to protect his rattled QB.. Fletcher AND Marty usually handle ALL our 3rd down blitz pickup, they were out..

He probably thought I can pop one of these screens and catch them blitzing but our oline cant execute ****.. I havent rewatched, I am utterly confused what happened late.. As a play caller thats all I have.. Mensah missed wide open Mali, he wasnt seeing the field.. They have the ipads, Dawson knows something was up and didnt trust putting offense in bad position, thats all I can think..

Yeah, it was baffling.

I'll have to rewatch, but something was clearly off. We were toying with them, then suddenly we have five straight 3-and-outs. Made zero sense.

Personnel groupings were weird. Why was Lofton in the game, and why are we throwing fades to him?

If thats the case I'd put McCoy at LG by Sampson sit them both down & say I'm running Mallory & Pringle 30 times behind you guys in the second half & lets put these mother ****ers away. Instead we through 900 screen passes & looked like ******* idiots. I think Dawson but he gets in his own way alot. If were gonna try to bleed the game away lets at least try to play some power football & grind the clock away like men.
