I love it man! A kid who carries himself like a mature adult...says "yes sir, no sir"...but turns on that savagery when he's on the field. Best of both worlds. Kids like that are so refreshing to coach.

Thanks... his Pop-Warner coaches, his Jr High coaches.. Teachers/Administrators from elementary to High School.. say the same thing. He has a following and its not because he is a good football player, but because he is a good person that plays football well. A number of his coaches and teachers are Gators... Pop-Warner and Jr High coaches are Bull Gator Boosters... they all have something now with a U on it... a hat, shirt key chain...something. He is a good kid... he is humble enough to know that his accolades doesn't elevate him hire than any of our other kids... I guess being the youngest of 7 he benefited or learned from a number of mistakes that happened before he had a chance to make it.... and he has had his share of mistakes like any other kids... but all and all he has done well.

"But they are just as easy to hit." Might be best quote in years. Hitting is want has been missing. Love this. Love these new LBs. Grace will have some serious stuff to work with. Been long time since we had more than one good LB at same time.

I'm baby of 6 kids. It does help to see older siblings' actions and results, but some stuff is hard wired and parenting doe matter. It might not be PC, but the right daddy means a lot to sons, a whole lot. I just bet the last thing in the world your boy ever wants to do is disappoint you. I loved my Mom but that little nod from dad when he approve of something meant everything. Mommy always loves you; you earn daddy's respect the old-fashion way. Good job.

I am so glad you kid gets to play in a new defense with some decent coaches and a aggressive Dline in front of him. I've said this before, but I cannot wait to see your boy run thru THE SMOKE for the first time. Not to mention his first lick on a WR crossing in front of him. I am looking for another Vanover moment -- been too long.
 
This class was a huge pull for the future, couple that with who we are after this year and our LB's are going to be straight savages.

I'm sure his father would disagree. Good looking kid, mature, respectfully, comes across as being smart, confident. Give Miami 84 other kids like him and they're winning national titles, quite a few of them. These are the types of kids you build programs around.

We just got 3 advanced freshman physically and mentally at one of the most important positions on the field that we have lacked at that spot outside of a few guys over the last few years

Mike Pinkney reminds me of Nate Webster so much. From the first interview i watched of him, he seemed like a kid that was a Junior already in college. Him and Shaq i dont know what they do up in duval..but those kids are naturals in interviews. Guys like Sean Spence whow ere interviewed from they were in optomist leagues werent as comfortable as these guys....
