Pete...what about that JUCO McDowell?

Last word on him was that he had sent his paperwork down to UM to see if he would qualify, and then he turned around and dropped us, so Id say that is a pretty good sign they told him he would not get in.

Glad to hear Njoku on board as a TE. Certainly has the frame to put on weight and speed to use inside and split. Lamont Gilliard and JC Jackson would make this a "Great" class if we can real them in. At least the staff still out there trying their best by even getting a visit so late in the process. Oh! If Coley can convince Bo Scarborough he'll be pounding the rock, in a big city and have more life experiences in 3 years than Tuscaloosa can offer in a lifetime then this class would be #1.

Re: Wyche Situation

Why would a conference be able to determine who gets into your institution? That rule is senseless since it doesn't apply to the general student population and guys who go to prep school are allowed in. What purpose does the rule serve the conference, the school or the kid? Sorry Wyche, the school recruited you, you trusted what they were telling you, you choose the U based on their words, you signed a Scholie, the school accepted you. Now someone not associated with school has enforced a rule so ridiculous that even an asinine organization like the NCAA doesn't even have it in their silly bylaws. Hope he sticks and comes in May, but why when can be practicing his craft at some other conferences member school.

I think if it was FSU it would have been no problem . I bet Jimbo snitched

Really dumb and stupid to think that players currently in the team will tell a recruit not to come. First of all they came to UM to win a championship and they know they need him to win that CHAMPIONSHIP , so what make you think they will say that to him.
