WW, Hester, and Patta were all crazy. The meltdown when Patta was trolling by saying he was going to Rutgers was next level.

Hester was coming to UM regardless. Pagano (with Butch's blessing) offered Devin a full schollie in 1999 when he was a HS freshman and Devin never forgot that.

Not gonna lie. When the admin messed with him over those SAT scores and made him sit that year I thought he was gone.

His grades in HS were never a problem. 4 teachers and the Principal stood up for him. He was highly intelligent in regards to academics.

No doubt. I was more worried that he was going to leave because our admin chose to believe an "anonymous" source aka scumbag Chuck Amato over taking him at his word that he didn't cheat. The kid did nothing wrong and it cost him a year and most likely us a Natty that year.

Ridiculously good. Had 400+ tackles in HS....and 90% were Kill shots.

So true. Every time he would hit somebody, you would think the guy was sleeping with his girlfriend. He played with anger and violence.

Did the same at UM....300+ Tackles in 22 games as a starter. His Hits at GreenTree are still Legendary. You could hear them from 100yds away. The stories I could tell....Lol

He's doing fantastic....he's a personal trainer and mentor in Dade County.
