Anyone else ever go back and watch the highlights from those two weeks? Richt had us looking ******* electric man. And look at the talent all over the field, it's just night and day

I just don't know how we couldn't capitalize on the momentum that we had. A **** shame as to what could have been

If that version of Richt was our head coach, we would look much the same. Better on offense, worse on defense. With Lashlee as offensive coordinator (I know I’m one of his biggest critics), look out. 2018 Richt was starting to feel the symptoms too much.

People still underestimate the job he did keeping the team focused through the Hurricane Irma disruption.

Our already burned out head coach started suffering early stages of a serious neurological disiease. He let us off the hook and retired and we payed $4 million for an unqualified zhead coach to learn on the job. That’s how we lost that momentum.

All 4 starting DL were drafted
3 of the 4 starters at DB were drafted (Malek would have been)
Shaq was drafted

How many of our starters on that side can we say with 100% certainty will be drafted? We aren’t anywhere close to that at the moment, smh.

Sidenote, that was 4 years ago and McCloud is still here lol. Getting clean up effort sacks vs CCSU, life comes at you fast.

Not to mention all the skill guys on offense who are playing in the NFL.

Berrios
Homer
Deejay
Herndon
And Jeff Thomas and Ahmmon Richards too who both could have played in the league

Kaaya stays and that team doesn't drop three in a row to end the year. QB room had a lot to do with losing that momentum.
this. Second half of 2016, Kaaya was feeling it and legit had command of the whole field, and chemistry with his receivers. We still lose to Clemson that year but it's a closer matchup, and definitely don't drop that Pitt game.

I firmly believe if Rosier doesn’t throw that pick in 1st quarter in Wisconsin game we win the OB. Up 14-3 at end of quarter they werent doing anything on offense and we give it away deep in our territory.
That and the missed PI on Cager. He was running free for that TD and the DB held him. That’s when the game changed. It was about to be a rout.

This right here.
There are levels to this. There is a huge difference between a 4 year p5 starter and an nfl player. Even our secondary had some nfl talent in it.

Amazing what happens when you fail to groom a QB worth a ****. Eventually, the law of averages was going to catch up to Miami, because Miami went 10-3 with Malik Rosier at QB. A guy that wouldn't start at most schools. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: The dumbest thing Brad Kaaya did was leave. Miami with Kaaya, in an offense that resembled what they ran against WVU would have easily gone 11+ wins, possibly competed with Clemson and set Miami up for a little bit of a run. Odds are if Rosier wasn't the starter in 2017, Perry would have most likely been the starter the year after, and Miami takes a step back but isn't complete butt cheeks.

Then again, it's all theoretical, because Jon Richt was pure garbage and that wasn't changing. If only Miami had gotten Richt in 2006....That's the question. What would Miami have done with a prime Richt for a decade?

I'll never understand why it took Richt almost an entire season to realize that Kaaya needed to be in a system that just let him throw the rock around.

The 2 counter plays against ND are the most exotic run plays we have called in 10yrs. Lashlee is the most overrated coach we have. Where are all the d-bag “ Elite, gonna be a head coach in 2 yrs!” Crowd. ******* clowns.

Go Canes?!
