C'mon guys, they guys have a job to do and are paid by the university. No organization puts up with paid employees publicly calling for the heads of leadership, regardless of how poor they are performing.

DBJ sucked their buttholes but it was more for political reasons. CMR is personal for him since they’re buddies.

3-4 years ago, I called out Beast once for defending Coker when he was working at QAM for Canes games and he admitted to me he did it for his job. At least he admitted it.

No one (at least not myself) is asking them to call for heads.......we're just saying they need to tone down the cheerleading about 9 notches to a level where the telecasts are actually at a normal homer level.

Completely agree. However, where they lose me is when they insult the fans and listeners for criticizing the staff. After the Duke game, DBJ was spinning everything to make Duke look like world beaters. It’s so insulting.

Yeah but that's totally different....I'm sure Beast is 100% dependent on his income from the station to survive...and quite frankly I get the impression homeboy wouldn't succeed at much else in life.

DBJ doesn't have that excuse.

I’m sure DBJ loves the job and gets a decent income on the side. He gets to hear his own voice throughout Hurricanes history. He isn’t going to risk losing this opportunity.

They call it Hurricane Propoganda Network for a reason. My wife can’t even stand these guys. Still miss Sonny Hirsch, Zacrappy and carpet boy are hot garbage. They probably still think Kyle Wright will win three Heismans here...oh wait that was Beano Cook on Ron Pawlus, my bad.

Agreed, there is a way to keep a balance between understanding who is your employer is and not insulting the intelligence of the fans

My main issue with them is that they shoehorn in sponsors every chance they get. For the Gtech game, they were going to commercial during 2nd and 3rd down plays, and here I sit in my truck, wondering what the **** is the outcome.

The shoehorn sponsors is annoying, sometimes hilarious, but if you do that, don't go to commercial while play is happening. That's ridiculous, and that's my gripe with them.
