App runs a spread option variation primarily out of the pistol. It is more similar to the veer than a pro style offense but in all actuality it is extremely different.

The concern is valid, not due to Richt not being able to coach, but due to having three freshman linebackers in their first away game, having to play assignment football. This is going to be a good test for them as ESPN's FPI gives Miami a better chance to beat Georgia Tech (who runs the veer) than to beat App state.

I promise you App State isn't going to force us to play assignment football. The assignment is and always will be get up field and kill someone. Pinckney and Shaq will probably knock Cox out in the first quarter. I hope they get the honor of ending his career without breaking that ****** rushing record at ASU.
