We play Pitt every year so that’s not a question and we will not play BC this year unless you think the physical D-Line they have will get them past Clemson and we win the coastal. You also can’t say our o-line isn’t getting older yet when they are literally getting older at every tick of the clock, they have had more practices since the gator start more game reps since the last game rep. How do you think players grow up and mature? You think it just happens at the conclusion of one season and the beginning of the next. I’m not saying they will be all world but they are obviously learning and going to be better then the last time they played.

You will soon come to understand, yeah, they got more practices in, but that's against guys they are use too going against everyday, as you could see, once we played the gaytors, new ball game. Its not that the gaytors d-line played better than ours, because they didnt, one things for certain, ford might not be the pass rusher gerald willis was, but he's dam sho better against the run already, he commands a double team, but the difference in that game was, mullen made sure he continued to get the ball out of felipe's hand quickly, whereas coach enos must've took his first hit of that sticky weed with the plays he was calling for jarren. Our d-line balled out for the most part, and they will continue to get better, im proud of them boyz, a healthy patchan is elite, he proved that before he got hurt when he blasted might've famous jameis. But im sure campbell and nelson will improve, but that'll be expedited if the playcalling is on point like the 1st drive!

A win is a win....but squeaking by NC wouldn't give me the warm and fuzzies. It would be basically the same type of "win" we've been celebrating over the last 15 years. You can celebrate squeaking by Florida.....but against the NC's of the world, not so much.

This same UNC team got trounced by us 47-10 just a year ago, they didn't have that much of a roster turnover in just one offseason to where they're now some elite powerful ACC contender. UNC IS NOT A GOOD TEAM.

If Diaz, Enos & company are good coaches (which I believe they are) this UNC game is not one we stumble over, UNC's Defense didn't do sh*t that was impressive or comparative to UF, Enos after watching that South Carolina tape should see opportunities for TD's all over the field.

Miami is a better team than UNC, that's an inarguable FACT. The only way we lose this game is if the Coaches don't do their job & have us as well prepared as possible. These are the games where coaching makes the difference, there's no real legitimate argument to be made as to why we should lose this game...

Lizards D isn't the world beater some on here claim it is.

Better than some in ACC for sure, but not THAT much better.

It's a matter of fractions between Top 25 and Top 50 defense metrics.

Same can be said Top 50 to Top 75.

No doubt, i just want to see what campbell and nelso do from week to week, its actually going to be fun watching their development. Its also comical that people on here just chalked up the tackles being young and its ok, but somehow it was coach richt's fault last year, even tho the wideouts were real young, new offensive staff, and still no pope, so it wasnt. I’m with it , we need to dramatically improve on the road. Even under richt we were horrible on the road the last 3 years for the most part. I believe Diaz will have the guys ready to go

It doesn't matter how they won. So what you think the defense going to do to a true freshmen qb? South carolina was hitting him and getting pressure and their defense is no where near miami.

Them dudes had to pull out everything they had to beat a bad usce team and now they are so good.

In the win - loss column you're right. But if you're projecting ahead, it matters. Can't depend on that kind of luck to have to win.

All I saw was a poorly coached Muschsmp team and a overrated Jake Bentley. Their secondary couldn’t cover a tree if it moved.

If SC had SoFlo athletes it would be a different game. Sam Howell looked average but our D line will definitely make him look like a freshman
