Is this the least attractive it's ever been? Obviously when jimmy and Dennis were hired it was very attractive. I'm not sure how many wanted the job when butch got it. How far down the list did they go when they settled on Shannon and golden? I'm concerned nobody worth anything (other than butch) is going to want this job. Even if they are willing to spend. Depressing time to be a fan. Coaching searches are supposed to be exciting.

1 when we hired a corch from temple. Have u not been following the coach search? There are tons of coach's intrested in the job.
 
Go drink heavily until this year is over. With an exception of Donna and Blake and a few others, everyone knew this year would be rough. Al needed to go last year. We still have a lot of talent on this team they have been watered down with Als philosophy and Doritos horrible defensive style.
Butch would build a staff full of top coaches.
As far as other coaching candidates,
you won't hear other names currently employed at other universities until after the season.

The UM HC job should have been open a year ago. The BOT's criminal nonfeasance, last year, has brought us here. For those who don't remember that this board was fed up then, here are a few 1 year old threads, with a couple of comments from same:

Because these ******* Golden supporters will denigrate any and every coach to prop up their lord and savior al golden. When you can't win the win/loss argument, or the statics argument or the logical argument, you settle for the but butch davis never won anything argument. Cause they don't have anything else. Meanwhile, the ******* they keep propping up has yet to have a signature win, has yet to crack 10 wins, has yet to win the terrible coastal. Yet here they are attacking the man that built the greatest football team in CFB history.

This is the best the U coaching job has looked in the last 12 years.

We have a lame duck head corch in training taking over for a lame head corch. It's not going to get turned around overnight, especially with a lame duck. The U is still one of the best schools to coach at.

I agree with everything you said except Golden being gone last year. He should have been canned after the Rustled Bowl.
