A lot of people might not say they like us, but they do envy our mystique and swag we carry as a team. There's a reason why even during the Shannon and Golden years, the ratings were through the roof for certain games. Miami has always been the spice when it comes to college football, without the U, College football would be bland as ****!

Hold up there, big difference in being "likable" and "liked", I can virtually assure you we are not liked.

Miami Hurricanes Are Fourth Most Likable Team in College Football, USA Today Says

I know we love them.

Other teams & fans really really loved us when they were beating us and we were losing.

So this now I don't understand. Kinda has me baffled after 10-3.

Guess its saying we've got to step it up!! Let's go 12-1 or 13-0 .....Let's Bring back the Hate!!!
****. talk about a fall from grace. we went from most hated to one of the most liked. this is going to really put a strain on the CIS narrative.

Wow I'm actually surprised we are even on that list let alone 4th.

We are however one of the few teams with a national fan base as alluded to above. And Miami is a **** town.

:neonu:

Good. I mean, have we not paid our penance? How many times can the media and rivals drag our name though the mud before people start thinking, "Yeah, I'd like to see that team come back again." I have to give a lot of credit to the Richt hire. The combo of a likeable coach with an established name poised to turn around the program of his Alma Mater is a great one. Plus, many think a man with Richt's record should not have to lose his job.
We were on Game Day and blew out Notre Dame during prime time. That gives a lot of credit. Plus our beautiful campus and trophy case was featured.

I think our college game day last year had the highest ratings of the game days series all year

It's always easy to like the team that's on the come up or the rebound. I remember cheering for the Patriots for their first super bowl because it was such a cool story and blah blah blah. Now they are the most hated team in the NFL outside of New England. Same ****. We win, people will hate us. It's how it goes
