The U has contacted Stoops and Herman?

According to Bleacher, Stoops and Herman have been contacted by the University of Miami. If these reports are true, The U is leaning on a coach with "NO" Miami ties.

There has been no mention of Chud, Schiano, Cristobal, and Butch. It's pretty apparent the administration wants to distance themselves to the past? So can we live with any of these two?

We're not getting Bob. Mike peaked at Zona and is DC for Bob. Mark has UM ties and is at Kuntucky.

That's my opine but the natives that live in these woods want to hear none of that.......

I'm ok with this. If they're truly distancing themselves from the Miami bunch (Stoops was a position coach at one point), I'm ok with it. Although part of me would like to see Butch back into the fold. But it's better giving up on the Butch dream then the possibility of having Chud, Mario, or Schiano.
 
I don't believe this distancing stuff. That was Shalala IMO. She would have never Ok'd Golden getting canned after 7 games.
