The thing I loved most about the open practice...

No. They don’t need to hear it from the crowd. They already know. Manny doesn’t hate a team more than he hates the gators. In 4 weeks they aren’t gonna remember what fans said the 1st practice

Don’t think it matters one way or the other but good to hear the crowd enthused and into the practice. The team already knows full well what’s at stake in Week 0. What I don’t want is them coming into the game tense or wound up too much. Even keel, and ready to go. Just like we were versus Vag Tech and Notre Lame.

In the 80's at the OB when the buses would arrive our fans would be yakking and encouraging our players as they went into the OB, the interaction was great...as the years went by the players would get off the buses with headphones on and ignore the fans. I honestly think fan interaction was a factor in the 58 game home win streak. If it didn't, fine but it sure was fun as our interaction with the players FELT personal. Diaz said he wanted that interaction with the fans during the first practice, something most coaches don't want. I would love to go the HR and have the same old school interaction.
