The test of a mans character is not how he handles success, but how he handles failure

And that, my friends, Is why I’ve turned on Manny. A confident coach who trusts himself and his ability does not handle failure like Manny has this season. Blame-shifting, excuse making is for the weak minded and those with low integrity. Just the way he has handled these losses tells me we have no hope.

Any specific examples?

Also, you must not watch many pressers at any level. They all talk the same.

Are you kidding? I never heard Urban, Dabo, Satan, or even Jimmy blame players and blame shifting. Satan s always takes responsibility and the players respect him.... players absolutely don’t respect a coach that goes to the media and blames lack of execution or youth. That fragments and destroys trust.... you want proof? This team has no faith in this regime and they’re not putting themselves on the line for a coach like this.

our recruiting class is gonna implode. I’d expect a top 30 class before it’s over. Then manny can truly feel what it’s like in a rebuild.

back to back top 12 classes and he calls this a rebuild! and he was responsible for half of it... boggles the mind.

He simply does not have the tools, he has never learned the job because he has never been a HC, not his fault, he would have learned the right way at Temple, we are the idiots that hired him without any data to support the hire. Our BOT is the problem here, Manny is just another festering symptom of the incompetence of our BOT.

Yes, Saban (he really has on multiple occasions) and Meyer have both gone off on the players. Just this past year talking about linebackers Saban was less than complimentary stands out. Dabo, I haven't noticed it, barely caught any of his pressers. So essentially, you haven't paid attention.

They aren't putting themselves on the line? Just more dumb **** fan response trying to justify whatever agenda they're trying to push. We haven't shown any quit, we just aren't good enough and at times, not put in a position to be successful. In particular on offense.

29 missed tackles speaks to one thing...

Ignorance is bliss my friend

Half of those were against Mason, if not more I would bet. Such a simplistic view of things tossing out a stat.

I know this is something that most here just simply comprehend, but maybe the dude is good. He obviously is hard to bring down. He's just getting going and I would ride him like they did.

Sat 10/19 @ Miami 141yds 7.1 avg 1 TD 22 Long

DUKE - 106 5.9 0 25

UNC - 62 7.8 1 43

TEM - 8 1.6 0 4

CIT - 11 78 7.1 2

We gave up the most, but as I said, he's just getting going.

I don't care how confident are not confident he is. I care that he knows how to be a coach and win games. But yeah, it is clear by how he's handling this failure that he doesn't know what to do

You take the blame publicly then take it out on the players in practice by coaching tougher. You want penalties to go down, start penalizing the team in practice or teach something a different way.

I’ll also continue to say it but what **** is up with allowing the players to dress up like they are in the NFL going to the cane walk? Dress like a ******* team.

Bingo! Players respect a coach that will take the blame... i played; I know. We he takes to coward approach, it undermines the team as their willingness to put in the extra effort. We showed no heart vs GT and if anything, came out poorly after our halftime adjustments.

why is that?
