Wanted to make it a little easier for everyone, to see what targets we are going after down the stretch to NSD.

Thanks for organizing. Is Nick Eubanks still a target? Also are Cephus and Stove getting recruited at other positions other than S and WR?
 
The Guidry kid would be huge! watched his film and Im impressed!!!

I think we land at least 2 of those WR's and 2 Corners and maybe 2 safeties.

Need Guidry and 1 more DT and hopefully a 1 OL.

Unfortunately, the previous staff left a lot of holes in the roster. 1st string looks good. But below that, we're way too thin at most positions. This class needs to be big. Hope coaches add more names to this list.

Here are my thoughts on numbers...

Commits and final numbers
WR: Mullins and Williams / we take 3 more. Notice Bruce is out.
CB: Byrd and Wiggins / we take 1 more. Notice Jackson is out.
S: Wright and Young / we take 1 more
DT: None / we take 1
DE: Bethal and Jackson / we take 1 more
LB: Shaq, McCloud and Pickney / done
OL: None / we take 1
TE: Irvin / we take 1 more
RB: Homer / done
QB: Allison / done

This gives us a class of 23.

You guys need to come to terms that there is at least a chance that Mullins doesn't qualify. When you combine that with the uncertainty of Bruce and AR, I think that is why we've seen so many new WR's on the board.
 
Keeping your commits as targets ensures you get the papers. And you know we will sweat each one until the fax comes in. Coaches board better list all but EE.

My opinion on numbers:

QB: Done- 1 Total
RB: Done- 1 Total
WR: We take 2 or 3 more of Richards, Davis, Wims- 5 total
TE: Take 1 more of Eubanks or Haskins- 2 Total
OL: 1 of the 4 listed targets- 1 Total
LB: Done- 3 Total
DE: 1 more if Martin comes- 3 Total
DT: 2 more between Logan, Guidry and Thompson- 2 Total
S: 2 more between Finley, Pierre, Miller, and Cephus, or Cook- 3 Total
CB: 1 more between Carter, Robinson, Mcwilliams- 3 Total

That's 24 total give or take players not qualify or other transfers

I also thinks it's a possibility that Wiggins and Wright could still be dropped

Stove upside at corner is better than WR IMO.


Cephus is believed to be recruited as a safety by the staff right now. Great athlete and measurables.

As for Eubanks, apparently he's showing some interest back.
 
I think Mullins will qualify. Don't think we would be having him for an official if there was a real chance he wouldn't qualify. I think the amount of wrs we are targeting is more to lack of depth there and Bruce's shakiness. I also think Malek will be a corner. Are we targeting Miller strictly at safety?
