While everyone is jumping over this team....and rightfully so, one thing no one is talking about. The chance for growth of this line together.
3 young guys at OL most important spots, a young QB. They can actually grow into something good or great. This game doesnt matter grand scheme, we will still have a chance to get smoked by Clemson. But at least we are building towards something. Give us the chance at a decent line for the next few years instead of regurgitating a senior or junior bum that is just as trash. This was a big problem with the last 3 staffs. When you are stagnant you have to build from scratch, IMO.
Side note: How bad are Hillery, Kennedy and Herbert? I think they may have done better in this game, but going forward Campbell and Nelson have the higher ceilings, so let them take lumps and grow.
