Our orange and green will need to put this behind them and get to work on building the blocks of success and resiliency for the 2026 Campaign. They put together a great year relative to what hasn't happened for Miami football in over 2 decades.

Good on them!

Let's look to the future for more of their success.

Go Canes!

You are 100% correct.
There has been 8,783 sun rises since Miami won a National Championship, so I’m pretty certain we wi get another sunrise tomorrow.
The down side is we probably looking at another 8,783 sunrises before we get this opportunity again.

Hopefully, next time we choose the right QB, and not a rag arm mental case like Beck.

Might be another 20+ years, nothing is guarenteed.. sucks
Exactly. Who knows when we will be back here. To make a natty now you need a lot of things to fall your way. We had the chance right in front of us tonight.

I have some unfortunate stuff going on in my personal life right now. And this Canes play off run has kept me having something to look forward to. I hate how this feels and I also hate it even more for those guys that went on the field and fought and bled for The U tonight and will forever think to themselves “they weren’t good enough” to get number 6 and that they are failures.

Sun has risen here. Blue sky, wonderful weather. Might put on the running shoes and run for a quick 5K with three hours of sleep.

Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. Winston Churchill wont be my favourite person of all time, but he was absolutely right about this one. And not losing your enthusiasm is really hard when you lose in such fashion. Grief is the price we pay for love. And **** it, I love this too much. We all do. That is why we are so upset.

But I have a tremendous feel of pride for what this team has accomplished. This has been quite the ride to follow and we were on the cusp of winning it all. All the young players who either just joined the team or are freshmen have had the opportunity to see the passion that comes with following this team and could feel what it means competing for a national title.

We will be back. We talked for years about how we had no standard for hard work and no standard for competitive fire. We used to have receivers look weird at freshmen for working hard, doing extra reps, trying everything they can to get better with every rep. Now, players like Restrepo, Rivers, Mauigoa, Bain, Mesidor, Bissainthe all have shown what the standard is. We have established ourselves again and we will have opportunites to make the most out of us. And I have no doubt that we will be there again.

Evil prevailed. Darkness spreads across the land.

So ist es! We will be back stronger, but this one definitely hurts today! Keep the talent at home from now on and get into the playoffs again in 2026. Go Canes!

Miami under Mario is not a flash in the pan that needed to steal a scarce opportunity at a title.

This was a fantastic team and roster that laid a foundation so trying not to minimize, but there will be far more talented teams in the future. This program will be competing in more playoffs for years to come.
