...and I'm looking for something, anything (more for me than you guys), so how about this:

We're (choose one) away from being 4-0

two field goals
two dropped TDs
two penalies calling back TDs or critical field position
two blown coverages


Too bad, were two-two. Oh yeah, I like our punter too.

We are just not that good this year. I am learning to deal with it. Just gonna watch the season unfold and see what happens. I am not going to believe any hype **** nor **** on my team. It is what it is and lets see if we can improve throughout the season. I think that is all we can hope for.
A Coastal would be nice, but right now, I am just hoping we can make a bowl game and not look like a sloppy mess in doing so.
O-Line is killing this team. They are young and need time, teaching and experience.

We are also....

Yards Per Game - 86th
Yards Per Play - 73rd
Rushing Yards - 97th
Yards Per Rush - 109th
Passing Yards - 45th
Yards Per Pass - 43rd
Points Per Game - 100th
3rd Down Conversion % - 128th
Redzone TD % - 93rd
Sacks Allowed - 102nd
Tackles For Loss Allowed - 126th
Penalties - 126th

And half of those games were against non P5 opponents. That's quite a body of work. As bad as all of those rankings are, half of them are ranked worse than 100! Holy crap, there is no way you can spin this.

Still it rose but we are 2-2 with wins over BET and CM and a loss to UNC that loss to Wake and Akron. We can’t pass, we can’t run or kick FG made 15 penalties per game and all is getting worse. The defense is not worth to write up.

When are our Canes not young & lacking depth? We’ve been saying this since the Shannon days. You don’t think Bama and Clemson haven’t had their share of Juniors leave early?

Reasonable take. But going on two decades of futility to a once dominant program has everyone PTSD.
