The success of Elijah Lofton is key to the season.

Lofton is not Bowers. We don’t have the defense that Georgia had. It is ok to get excited but be realistic in your comparison.
I never said he was. But at the college level, he has similar skillset.

NFL wise: he is most closest to Gerald Everett.

Bowers

Bowers was Elite yes, But not the most Physically impressive prospect of All time.
Jeremy Shockey,Kellen Winslow even Greg Olsen from pure Talent Match Bowers or Exceed Him.
*Bowers May have Been the be Reciever.
& Overall Player .But Talent wise he was 6’3.5 240 lbs
**Shockey was 6’6 256 timed 4.55 ( Watch The TD vs VT ‘00) Exceed Bowers as a Prospect ( not a Player)/Better Blocker. Shockey Had Hall of Fame Talent

Winslow -6-5 250 4.58 Better Block/ Near Bowers Level a Receiver

Olsen 6’5 248 4.62 —Better Blocker

Pitts -Florida Ultimate Flex TE
Exceeds as a Reciever/ Bowers much Better Blocker

***Keith Jackson - Oklahoma
Of The 80s - Was Brock Bowers.
He would Take Reverses to the House (85 yds VS Nebraska)
6’3 250 Sub 4.5 was Faster Than Micheal Irvin.
Not sure where you going with this.

Kellen Winslow/vernon Davis/kyle Pitts are probably the 3 most athletically gifted TEs the last 25 years draft wise.

Still: Bowers the most decorated TE prospect in CFB history. He should have won 3 Mackey awards. (Won two).

Lofton and Bauman will absolutely feast in the redzone this season. Wouldn't shock me if Lofton led the offense in Tds
