Until people stop showing up for this team then and only then will the administration and BOT finally get it. This group of incompetents has been doing this over and over again since the hiring of Larry Coker/letting Butch Davis go. The BOT does not have a clue about hiring a football coach or probably hiring anyone else, who in the **** does a 6 hour job search for a $3MM/yr employee? Only a group of blithering idiots!!!

Manny is a good guy that has no business being a head coach at the level Miami is supposed to be at. Actually Manny is lowering UM to the level he should be coaching at, lucky us. We will not be back any time soon and we can place the blame on the BOT. Showing up for this team is just emboldening the idiots to make more horrible decisions for this university.

This is the third assistant to head coach hire and on track for the same outcome as the other 2. What’s the definition of insanity?

Simple at this point. Don't support the institution until change occurs. And change isn't Diaz, change starts with Blake James and works it's way down.

If Diaz is replaced down the line, there has to been a new athletic braintrust in place, making the decisions. That's the only place to start.

I'm not giving the University another dime as long as Blake James is an employee, that's how egregious his decisions have been as AD.
 
I never thought this would happen my Canes but I'm just apathetic to the program now. It happened with the Phins somewhere around Sage Rosenfels or Cleo Lemon and I just stopped giving a ****. If they won great but if they lost I stopped letting it bother me. Stopped going out of my way to watch the games about 10 years ago and now I probably couldn't name a dozen players on the roster. I'll literally be a fair weather fan if the tank works and they become relevant again.

But I never thought it would come to this with The U. I've been a diehard since '91 and never wavered through all the peaks and valleys. But after Saturday, knowing the BOT will likely never do what it takes to make the football program a priority, I'm having a really hard time trying to convince myself to give a **** anymore.

With ya on this. I have never felt this done with the Canes before. I see no path out as long as we have a BOT that just doesn't give a **** and is content to ride out the ACC money train.
 
Firing Blake James does nothing, because the same idiots that do the hiring will hire another incompetent! WHo do you think gave Blake James the ability to do more than pick up the dirty towels in the locker room? These idiots on the BOT are the ones that keep making the mistakes, and they aren't going anywhere!
