The staff needs to make some changes to the safety, striker, and lber positions

That was not a cheap shot. He put his helmet in the golden boy stomach and even let up after making contact. That was a horse**** call.
I wont get into semantics...the refs said it was dirty, we all know the targeting rules came about as a stop gap for Miamis rough style of play. Why cant they control themselves?

biggest problem with McCloud is that he is an Al Golden recruit.
gotta move on and get more speed and power which the Cloud doesn't have

Bruh...when have you EVER seen a targeting call like that? Clemson literally did the same thing to us in the same game and didn't get called

Im a cane fan through and through....but you cant tell me those hits werent borderline targeting at best. Once u get known for these kind of bad hits you get more scrutinized than others.

Are we talking about the same hit? Cuz I dont remember Keontra Smith ever getting called for targeting.

Did Smith get ejected for hitting TL? I know he did so we have to be talking about the same hit. Rewind to the ville game where he is plowing a kid into the gatorade table the refs have the same tapes we do bro.

You can’t have defensive players on the field that are both slow athletically and slow to read and react. That’s what you have with any combination of Amari Carter and Gurvan Hall at safety, and Jennings and McCloud at Lber on the field.

The best way to upgrade the overall speed and talent on defense would be to move Carter to Lber and start him next to Brooks. Move Frierson to safety and start him next to Bolden. And move Gurvan Hall to striker 2nd string behind Keontra Smith.

Hall isn’t starting caliber and the defense would be much better with Keontra and Frierson on the field at the same time along side Bubba Bolden. Amari Carter is a liability at safety but would upgrade the speed at lber starting next to Sam Brooks.

Williams, Williams, and T2. Problem solved.

We are not slow at LB, the staff just playing the wrong ones
What are slow at LB because the fast LBs are mostly on the bench. That's really all that matters but yes of course we would be much faster if the young kids played.

Great thinking. Are you Jimmy Johnson's long lost brother?:) Manny has made some bold moves so far...let's see what he does.

The safety play aside from Bolden has been lackluster. Bolden was flashing at USC as a true freshman. Kid was going to be a baller anywhere. I don’t buy that Banda is the reason he’s flourishing. Some people have it. Bubba is a gamer.

Also Banda still thinks Carter is a saftey, put him at WILL for Christ’s sake already. May as well throw the young kids in the fire because Carter is just to slow in the backend.
Strange logic.
If Bolden was gonna be great anywhere and coaching doesn't matter, would that not hold true for players who are limited.
Cant expect to pop out great players after great player and say its coaching, coaching only limits the depth of the talent valley. He's done a good job.
It's one game let's beat the mediocrity of the acc and be 2nd place with Clemson and we'll see.

Think about this, the bartender didn’t coach Bolden until this season. Now look at who he’s coached for 3-4 years that’s playing and tell me if you see a difference between Bolden and everyone else?

look back at the linebacker play of Spence and McCarty under Shannon/Barrow. Compared to the guys Diaz is coaching up. Big difference but the the talent is available to him in Brooks and Austin-Cave he just won’t play them consistently.

whoever coaching strikers is doing a good job. Frierson was not getting it done. He benched him for Smith, now Frierson is playing at a higher level and so is Smith. This guy gets it
Problem is what are they coaching : Patke seems to be doing a good job with the striker, and special teams : I just don't see what Mccloud is seeing out there :
