No DC? Manny really gonna go all season like that?

What it tells me is Shoop will game plan all week like a typical DC would and help fill in the gaps. Manny will call the plays on Saturday.

With Shoop and TRob being former DCs, there’s plenty of input and experience to make it work without a true DC running the day to day. Will it work? We’ll see. Manny could be looking at these two plus Jess and promote one next year for all we know.

Boregalles was a 72% FG kicker before he arrived here... He became a 90% kicker here. Hedley averaged 38 yards a punt before he got to UM. He's now up to 47.

Slippery slope here bro. Cant ground him for not crashing the Ferrari he was handed the keys to. There is some nobleness in not completely F'ing something up. Lol. Plus I cant recall us allowing a KO or PR for a TD in some time as well. I could be wrong.

That said, Patke is one of 2 people in that coaching room that doesnt belong (along with Rumph) and Patke knows that so maybe that will force him to step his game up. He will either rise to the occassion or fold like a cheap suit in that envirnoment.
