We have older people that enjoy "Sweet Caroline", we have young people that love EDM, we have people that love hip-hop, and we have people that tend to like a little bit of everything. If a song plays that isn't your jam, use it as an opportunity to chill, talk to your people or get a drink.

I am very old and white. Cannot stand Sweet Caroline. My favorite music ever was listening to Ella Fitzgerald. Here I.digress most here too young to know who she was

I'm not a fan of the song either, but I'm over the constant whining over it. It plays once a **** game, a ton of people in the crowd like it, it is what it is.
 
Empty stadium at the nc state game tonight. Miami Hurricanes fans would've been called out if the stadium was like this last night on social media and by espn THE HATE IS REAL!!

I like your list Kim, I heard it on the last podcast, but you did have one major song missing from it and that’s Phil Collins in the air tonight. That’s a Miami must right there, my friend.

This is absolutely why this dude got canned. We've noted it here many times. He almost cost the Canes a delay of game penalty on a kickoff because he refused to stop the music mid-chorus. It was always about him and not the game.

And playing Sweet Caroline and a couple classic rock songs is not antithetical to south Florida culture. It adds a fun little mix.

yeah, absolutely. That one is already grand fathered in. It's a staple for the pre-game
 
Not sure why the music situation is so difficult. Whichever DJ is tasked with the job would be wise to pull up any 90s Power 96 5pm traffic jam as a foundation for the sounds and feel of Miami.
