I’m as inpatient as any Canes fan out there but it seems to me that:

1. We did EXACTLY what we had to do vs SS, these kids didn’t schedule this opponent or choose them. We shut them out and scored 77 points. This wasn’t 24-7. Don’t know what would have satisfied some of us.
2. LSU was always a pick em game. Only the hype created the impression we were a clearly better team. 1-1 at this stage is not what we want but not a failure.
3. Regardless of who plays Qb we ARE NOT beating Clemson for the Acc title. Not Kosar, Kelly, Walsh, etc...the realistic expectation for this year is repeat 2017, show up better vs Clemson, and win the bowl game. That would be a good result. Continue the positive momentum, bring in a great class, keep it rollling.
4. I view the QB situation in this manner- I want a **** good QB by Virginia Tech in mid November. THATS our biggest game of the year. We are quite capable of losing that game away. It’s no gimme. I think Richt will gauge all the qbs thru the first half of the season as a long competition. I’m NOT a Rosier fan in any way, just think the real QB decision isn’t due for a while.
5. Rebuilding the chaotic mess left by Golden along with living in this Clemson dominance isn’t an overnight process. I think though we continue on the right path. Hope so.
