OK, no need to actually rehash the latest debacle we just witnessed vs BC

But currently, this program is at a crossroads. It has a coach in my view who isn't stubborn(sorry, that's a cop-out/excuse) the game has flat out passed him by. Again, his offense and his approach is Blockbuster Video in a NetFlix world. Yeah, players have to 'execute' but this system doesn't do any of them any favors

And just certain things just bug me, like why did it take 1.5 quarters for Jeff Thomas to even get a target?

- Why do we keep running 5 yard hitches on 3rd and 8?

- Again, there was one drive where I saw some quick easy reads and throws for Rosier that led to a TD drive. But for the most part I see way too many '50-50' balls being thrown up there. Say what you want about BC, but they schemed guys open and got them into space

Defense got gashed early on and they played their poorest game of the year but still, they gave up 'just' 27' points and in the second half the 10 points they gave up were on short fields after Rosier INTs. Speaking of Rosier, ESPN kept talking about how ''well'' he played in the 1st half. He had all of 79 yards passing. Talk about lowering the bar on past standards of good QB play

But we're stuck with Richt, lets be realistic. He isn't going anywhere. But Miami is on 'Richtbation' a form of probation that has nothing to do with the NCAA. And tonight 'Weekend at Richt's' was lifeless and it was sad to see. Those last few minutes showed again that #theShichtShow is so flawed, there was no real tempo to our up-tempo offense. And down 13 with just over two minutes to go UM is running half roll-outs with passes that go 3 yards. Hey guys, thats something you run on a 2-point attempt not with 75 yards to go and needing two TDs.

Defend this man all you want but I'll reserve the right to have my view - the guy is on the back nine of what has been a very good coaching career but his best days leading a program seem to be in the rearview mirror. At this point, I'd be more surprised if/when Miami wins a game rather than lose one. Think about this, without a turnover surge vs FSU, this is a 4-4 team. Yeah

So while BC was sporting red bandana's, Miami and Richt were waving the white flag

The only positive(if you want to call it that) is that Richt is giving many Miami fans an economic stimulus plan, because lets be honest, there is a large contingent that will now save their money and stay away in droves. It is what it is. Welcome to Hard Richt Stadium - plenty of seats available

Yeah, it's a real #ShichtShow

Agree with all this. The problems with Richt go way beyond play calling at this point. I posted a while ago that he seems old and not mentally sharp. Remember when Diaz had to tell him not to score against fsu? Tonight there was 7 min left and we stuffed BC for a loss on first down. Holding was called and instead of putting bc in 2nd and long, he took the penalty and gave bc first down again. That allowed them to run off another 45 seconds. There was 7 min left and we're down two scores and he just said here, I'll let you run off a whole bunch of extra time. That's just plain stupid.

Sean McDonough, who isn't a guy who likes to just rip coaches on the air, was making mention of just how slow we were getting up to the LOS and running plays during one of those last drives. It's one thing if UM needed one TD, but they needed TWO. He was spot on...

The scary thing is I used to think if he hired an oc, we would be alright. But I don't feel that way anymore, I think we'd still have a lot of problems.

McDonough calls it like it is and I've always appreciated that about him. His successor on MNF is the polar opposite and it's very irritating hearing him try to pump up everyone like they're infallible.

9'er. Luv ya and what your slanted eyes see. I'll put it in terms you can understand. Liston-Ali. Liston as a washed up drug addled has been beaten by a flashy kid. enough.

LOL, so is next week the rematch where Liston just lays down?

K9 is spot on...pipe dream if you think richt is gonna be fired...economics for buying him out plus potentially paying golden should they lose or settle the lawsuit plus hiring a new one....where da fuc k is the money gonna come from?

If miami plays like this the rest of year, how can the admin justify bringing Richt back next year.

Something has to give.

Maybe he will retire. If not, he needs to go period.

Once in a while, their instincts will kick in - but two weeks ago I saw a team quit on Richt.

Again, with some exceptions from exceptional players - I saw the same thing tonight.

It's not going to get any better.

I dont think we have a sure win left on this schedule...

You really think Richt is giving up that money?

Miami football is in purgatory...

This program is not as a crossroads, brother. Its driving down the Mediocre Expressway.

Yeah, it's gone completely off the cliff and exploded into flames. There is no denying that

And like a Golden team, not only is it a bad team, it's also boring to watch

K9 you are right we have a coach who is passed his prime. I really feel bad for the players man we are wasting great talent on the offensive side of the call because this fool is incompetent. How do you mess up three straight coaching searches?

I'll say this again, print out our current roster and in a few years highlight all the guys who will be drafted and play into the NFL. Outside of Clemson, I'd guess Miami would have more than anyone else in the ACC
