It's a basketball school and I don't think any coach is really going to change that even with Under Armour's fifteen thousand uniform combos and money. Local kids don't want to stay here because no one gives a **** about MD football. The whole reason MD bolted for the Big Ten money was because they over expanded their stadium and luxury suites with bonds and needed to boost ticket sales. There were as many Michigan fans as MD fans there this past Saturday. DC metro area is all Redskins for football.

I think Maryland will hire Schiano or the guy from Toledo ... Has to be someone with ties to the northeast and/or Midwest, IMO.

I can see Butch going to UCF. Of course, I can also see Schiano going there if he doesn't get the Maryland job ...
 
All of these poRsters actin like they have never made a business decision and was not given a second chance for it. I wish they would learn to get a grip on reality. And as far as any BOT holding grudges on Butch for trying to feed his family, then the need to grow the faq up. STOP BEING BUTT HURT.

THAT would be the ultimate horror show for Miami fans: To want him back so much and then see him go to a hated rival where he can kick our azzes every year. UNC was bad enough. God, the admins at this school are just abysmal, awful people.

The better question is why everyone thinks he is such a strong contender for the job. Where does the smoke there come from since he does not have any ties to the U?
 
oh but I thought #CanesFam and friends said that NOBODY wants this guy or has reached out to him? ******* idiots. Butch needs to be priority number one for this administration to hire as soon as they get their ******* heads out of their asses and fire Golden.

You know how many times I've said I'm done over the last 12 years? So many I can't count them all, but I keep turning on the games hoping for a miracle. I don't even care about Butch anymore as long as they spend the money for a real coach. Not sure Butch still has it at his age.
