The right man for the Miami OC position is one Brian Wright. No pun intended.

He's an EXCELLENT candidate but I think Diaz has his sights on Fedora.

That's the way it sounds after reading a transcript of Coach Diaz' interview. Fedora is NO. ONE on his list. Which makes reasonable sense and what not.

Well, no other than Herald's Barry Jackson agreed with you in Dec 28 article: https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article223695050.html

He saw White and Fedora first hand. Both have given him fits.

I wonder how much influence Jason Candle had on the offense though. White could of just been a product of that.

It’s a Message board so you’re entitled to your opinion. But this name has no merit. Finalist are 3 and no Mr. Right is wrong.

If he was calling plays he had PLENTY to do with it. Otherwise, your argument is that we shouldn't hire anyone from the Leach tree...we should hire Hal Mumme (as an example).

Yes, Fedora is the so-called HR, but he's OVER THE HILL. Whereas Toledo's Coach Wright is young and fresh new blood. And he could make his " niche " at Miami. Heck, he's coached and lived in south Florida already. Also, a lot of his offensive players are from the Tri-county area. Albeit they were former THREE-STAR prep players.
Don't you have someone from the high school ranks you could bring up?

Coach Wright has been Toledo's OC for three seasons now and has south Florida connections while coaching at Florida Atlantic. Diaz can also hire him on the CHEAP. Coach Wright currently earns $ 147, 000 per year. Oh and one more notion. Toledo was ranked No. 29 total offense this season and NO. TEN scoring offense. That' Numero Diaz. No pun intended. And the only reason why Toledo finished 7-5 is because of a SUCKY defense. Does that sound familiar?

Interesting name. He seems to have a good resume and a quick Google of his history at Montana State and Youngstown State shows that he ran some pretty productive offenses....he was at FAU too, anyone remember his stint there? I remember him filling in as interim HC after Pellini was canned and winning four games.

diaz loves those biceps
I bet if we get fedora well see sam bruce return bc he will understand his OC's obsession with bicep curls

I actually like Wright. His offense is QB friendly and very innovated. I remember we had difficulty solving it on defense in 2017 and 2018.

i cant get behind this unless i know for sure it was his offense/playcalling & not his Head coach, Candle
