The Richt vs UM Showdown

i'd say even more importantly bad qb play and tons of injuries to our best offensive play makers has caused the decline.
good qb play and for once finding a leader for the offense will solve the majority of our issues.

don't believe anyone could have done much better with the issues we have on the offensive side of the ball.

The Herd is NEVER going to allow someone to post a thoughtful comment. Either hate The Richt family, or you are a rat.

Your comments are 100% spot on! Thank you for at least trying to fit some sanity amongst all of the insanity.

Word around SC is Swann isn’t gonna be there for much longer. Just a weird move. But Kingsbury would be smart to take that job. Deep pockets and tons of recruits with speed. Hmm sound familiar?

Yeah; my boy said many are not impressed by him as AD. In all honesty, there was no reason for him being hired in such a position. No coaching experience, never was an Asst AD....****, dude was never a Control Analyst. He was just a former SC alum w a clean shaven background that did some color commentating for ABC. Annnnnnnd I think he’s one of the most overrated NFL receivers ever. Lol.

If the UM BOT and the real movers and shakers of this program are talking behind closed doors about changes on offense, Richt is going to have an interesting off season.

Over the last three years, Total Offense stats compared to the rest of the NCAA has declined badly. This only means defenses have figured out this piece of shiit system. Getting a new OC would probably mean firing his Son and/or Thomas Brown. Given Richt's history, he will most likely hold his position against any opposition for change. The question is will UM flinch and cave or go full miami escobar narcos lol and put the shotgun to Richt's head? Richt needs to be reminded this place is bigger than any one person.

BOT will not even notice unless massive number of season ticket holders make it clear they are not renewing.

LOL, you're fvcked up, fam.... but to answer the question, No we're just spiritually dating...... Are you lonely? I can fix you up with the quickness....LOL
Spiritually dating? Oh I get it... like sexting n stuff. But yea, these recliners get lonely!

Why on Earth would you blow up the whole staff and keep Clay Felchin? Makes no sense. Maybe he’s got dirt on Swann.
USC doesn’t have a president right now, and Swann either can’t or doesn’t want to eat a $20M buyout without a president in place.

Close enough. U guys do ems too or just fire,

Yes, EMS also, we do so much **** now, we're not FF'ers anymore we actually have to do building inspections, check ALL the hydrants in the city, to make sure they are up to par....,EMS, and Firefighting. And we're losing some medical care here and extra pay is stagnant. That's why I must leave.

Spent 2 hours yesterday checking hydrants, feeling homicidal the whole time. Wtf don’t they have the people who maintain hydrants check em? ******* ridiculous. Seriously nothing ****es me off more than doing that bull****. Pardon me, Imma go nail my feet to the floor now.

Our old chief sold us out to the city for $200,000, we get nothing out of it. It's OUR job NOW. I know the feeling, and if the hydrants are broken we STILL have to wait for the water commission to come out and repair it. c ocksuckers!!

The satisfaction of a job well done isn’t enough? SMFH

For this season, we had the QBs and OL we had. There was no changing that. What could have been changed was how we used them.

Richt (like al) knows what he wants to do and tries to get his guys to do it. Problem is, he doesn't always have the guys to do it well. Now I would argue that a good coach recruits to his philosophy, but tweaks that philosophy to fit the guys he actually has not the ones he wishes he had. Longer term, it's worth noting that what Richt wants to do doesn't work well with the players we can most easily get.

So do you want to cling to an ideal no matter what or adapt to the actual facts on the ground?

ssvir, I remember when the donations for the IPF were at like $30M and the price tag was said to be around $31M. The call for donations back then implied that the facility couldn't be finished unless that gap was closed by outside donations.

I thought at the time, "How cheap" (considering all the $$$ football brings into the university)! Oh, and raising $40M in 30 months is nothing to crow about. It took alum T. Boone Pickens 5 minutes to write a $165M check to be used for athletics only to Oklahoma State.
Could we give T Boone an Honorary Degree?..

Can a bunch of non football bot members really dictate how a coach coaches? You don’t like it, remove the coach, but telling him how to do his job?

Thank you @Roman Marciante for this nugget about the Total Offense..."hopelessness" came to mind and my heart as I read your tweet this morning and sipped on my hot lemon tea at the office. The guy is off the hook. He can do no wrong. Flake James forgot he has male parts between his legs. Meanwhile Mork or his people are tweeting all smiles and laughs on the recruiting trail like their offense didn't stink up the place and lets all pretend his Rosier decision that destroyed the season is quietly forgotten.

...maybe "hopelessness" was a little over dramatic but you feel me right...lol....desperate times...call for desperate measures...
