If the UM BOT and the real movers and shakers of this program are talking behind closed doors about changes on offense, Richt is going to have an interesting off season.

Over the last three years, Total Offense stats compared to the rest of the NCAA has declined badly. This only means defenses have figured out this piece of shiit system. Getting a new OC would probably mean firing his Son and/or Thomas Brown. Given Richt's history, he will most likely hold his position against any opposition for change. The question is will UM flinch and cave or go full miami escobar narcos lol and put the shotgun to Richt's head? Richt needs to be reminded this place is bigger than any one person.

Narrator: Canes fans went on to learn that Rick's offseason wasn't interesting at all as the concern of the BoT was vastly overestimated and the "movers and shakers" neither move nor shake until things are at Alfredo Golden vs Clemson and Radio Shannon vs USF levels.

i'd say even more importantly bad qb play and tons of injuries to our best offensive play makers has caused the decline.
good qb play and for once finding a leader for the offense will solve the majority of our issues.

don't believe anyone could have done much better with the issues we have on the offensive side of the ball.

Richt has us paralyzed because of his buyout.
This is why Blake is a complete joke of an AD. After one decent season we immediately extend his contract. It was 100% unnecessary and stupid. There was zero chance MR was going to bolt or some other school was going to swoop-in and take him. The dude was going to retire before coming here. The move was desperate and short sighted.

We will NEVER be back with this guy as AD. EVER.

They like the cleanliness of the program and it's trajectory, they really want to win, but after all the "chaos" from the Universities prospective, Richt is perfect.

Disagree that nobody could have done better however some of your points are absolutely valid. If we had even remotely decent quarterback play we would have probably won all 4 games versus Virginia Georgia Tech Boston college and Duke. Plenty of blame to go around including a lot on the staff for that issue as well but we could have easily finished the season 11 and 1 with how bad the conference was. I've never seen a season of worse quarterback play at any level in 30 years.

Of course the pitch fork gang here won't hear any of this and think if we simply had a different head coach we be 12 and 0 and on our way to the playoffs.

Three years in. Who is responsible for recruiting and coaching the QB’s?

You can spin it any way you want to make yourself feel “smart” and let you sleep at night thinking those who hold the coaches accountable are “reactionary” or “don’t know football”, but failure is failure is failure. Doesn’t matter how you slice it or scapegoat it, the arrow of failure always eventually leads to either Richt and his son, or Richt and Searles, or all of the above. No matter how you slice it, the offensive product on the field has gotten worse each year they’ve been here and has reached completely unacceptable levels of “proficiency”.

Failure is failure is failure.

Who is responsible for developing better qb play?

I'll help you. The coach.

Better coach. 12 -0. Quite possible.

Yep. A good rule of thumb when trying to gauge the urgency or concern of "the powers that be" at the University of Miami in relation to coaching is to survey the pulse of the national media and talking heads. Things never seem to move around here until you start to hear more and more outside critiques. And that says a lot because the network of talking heads/media usually come to those conclusions longggg after fanbases do.

I have a bad feeling that there is nothing going on and Rickets gets free reign for another year to do as he pleases. I hope I'm wrong. Recruits, especially a few undecided ones, need answers.

Did I say any of those things above? I'm thinking you need to actually read posts before you rip into people with your same narrative and personal attacks.
