The Richt Slurpers Love the Manny Hire

I’m no Richt Slurper, the best news I got so far this year happened yesterday morning (Richt retiring). But I think Diaz can be a great hire if he hires the right offensive staff, especially an OC that will run a spread offense.
Rumor is, Jon Richt is being retained and given a promotion.

So if I tell you that OC is going to be a guy named Frank ******* Ponce who has never called plays and was the passing game coordinator for a run heavy offense what would you say about Manny's outlook then?

This entire administration needs to be sent to Siberia. I hate that ******* program for what it has done to itself....AGAIN.

Yes the magic OC will fix the miserable S&C, horrific recruiting (which manny contributes to), flawed defensive scheme, ST’s, AND the offense.

fascinating. adds more credence to the fact that this is the worst hire we have ever made.

it will be funny when Manny loses next year and the slurpers will have to resort to blaming Richt’s “bad culture” as if they didnt praise the Pastor every minute up until Sunday.

It will be funny IF Manny wins next year, and you and your ilk will either 1.) come on here and eat a bag of ****s or 2.), more likely, you will create yet another new screenname.

Which is why I did say IF he hires the right offensive staff it’s a great hire, someone who would go full spread. I think Manny knows he can’t hitch his wagon someone who will run an un-innovative offense.

Hey troll, you’re posting at the rate of 20,000 posts a year, or to put it in perspective, I’d have a total of over 120,000 posts to this point.

Go away, troll

so ANYBODY who runs a spread offense is good with you huh? no actual production or experience needed?

I will call it a lazy hire, but it might not be a bad hire. Diaz needs to desperately bring in a completely new O staff that is actually VERY good. I just don't trust him to make good hires, because he has never made O hires before. I'm hopeful, but concerned.

As for Blake James. A national search? Really? Lying little sack of crap deserves to be the next Perry tweet.

The Richt "slurpers" love the hire just as much as the BBB group hates it. In between the two are the reasoned fans, who are optimistic for change and will give Diaz a chance to prove himself before declaring the hire either a complete success or an utter failure.

Being optimistic over what is the worst laziest hire ever is foolish.

Diaz was here for three years and in that time wasnt able to recruit or stop top offenses. He has no prior experience running a team. He will retain the majority of a 7-6 staff.

He’s a temple level coach.
