The Real WR U (long...)

We are WRU DBU TEU

DBU is up for debate, I think. Miami's been great at safety, but hasn't had many top flight NFL corners.

Texas, OSU* are up there for DBU, LSU recently. I'd like to see a breakdown of that.

A lot of these really depends on the time span that you specify. Personally I think its hard to claim any position without players that are currently active in the league at the position. If you have no active studs at the position then all your success are too far back to remember much like Tenn's WRs. We need some new blood to not just get to the league but ball out... most of our studs are from the early 2000 teams are either retired or on the decline. Currently we have a few good players but outside of TE we don't dominate any position..

81. Pete Banaszak 47 1966-1978 rai

After this list it's a big drop off to Cleveland Gary and Lamar Miller who only played 4 years...
We had a good run from 1999-2005 with Edge, Portis, McGahee, and Gore but not much NFL production outside of that.
Frank Gore was the only active back in the top 10 last season with 967 yards.
Lamar Miller (872 yards) had 8 TDs in 2015 good for 7 in the league. He and Duke need to step up and continue the legacy if we are going to in the conversation for RBU in the future.

A school like OU has a more recent claim with AP leading the league this year and Murray in 2014. They also has a longer history and can go back and list former pro bowlers like Greg Pruit (1973-84), Billy Sims (1980-84), Mike Thomas (1975-80), Joe Washigton (1977-85), Steve Owens (1970-74).

I swear I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! Really Tennessee? Really? There's no comparison.

How did they brain wash this guy? And why the heck is playing WR? Are they that desperate at the position?
