The Qb and offensive situation in a nutshell. (Realistic)

I watched my brother in scrimmages that were closed to the public. And I watch Dan and Nate basically have what looked to be human target practice against him during the first few weeks of spring.

If you've ever watched like everyday watched a team the defense always wins at first just takes offenses longer to get timing and all the intricacies of the plays to be smooth and seamless. Give the offense a chance to catch up because at the end of spring I'd start to see things even out. Just being real the defense is gonna learn the plays after seeing them every single day.

As far as the Qb situation I'm gonna ride with whoever wins the position everyone is not gonna have our defense this may be the toughest front seven this offense faces all year. Honestly my preference is for a freshman to win the job so we have our guy for the next three years barring unforeseen events. Rather than having to do this again in another year when Rosier graduates if he wins the job.

Defense should be easier and simpler defenses that think to much instead of playing fast are called (dorito&Fat Al) type defenses and we don't want that.

Everyone just calm down things always sort themselves out I WOULDN'T WANT TO BE IN A TRENCH WITH SOME OF YOU MOFOS SOME OF Y'ALL A BUNCH OF NERVOUS *** LIL GIRLS. UNTUCK YA DYCK FAHGGETS. MAN UP ITS ONE SCRIMMAGE.

Rosier has 2 years of eligibilty left though OP. So "if" he wins the job, he could also be the QB in 2018

LMFAO, dude, you're one real MF'er ... I respect that! And I agree with you, the offense will catch up.

You're MY brother

I would prefer it be Perry, but I don't think realistically he'll win it unless he just comes in May & is **** near perfect in every scrimmage come August.

He's had the playbook since January, but I don't think that will be enough for Richt to pick him over the upperclassmen, unless they're just too inconsistent.

In one scenario, if Perry shows he can pick things up quick then you roll with him, while having Rosier/Shirreffs as insurance in case Perry struggles. If you start a young guy like him, worst case scenario is you pull him if things get too hectic.

However, I don't think Richt will do that, he'll go with the one who he trusts can handle the pressure.

I've got no problem with Rosier or Shirreffs... I hope they prove to be more than just game managers, because that can eventually catch up with you. At some point you need a QB that can do more than just be a check down artist.

All I know, whoever it is better beat FSU & help lead us to a Coastal title, otherwise it's a missed opportunity.

Huge fan of your brother. Wish he didn't end up getting drafted by the Browns. Love this post, spoken like a vet.

P.S. - he got the first against PSU, worst spot ever. His heart didn't pump no Kool aid.

Go Canes!

Can rosier be our Masoli/ Darron Thomas while our Marriota (Perry) gets acclimated and ready to lead us to the playoffs and championships? If so, count me in for that.

The last time we started a true freshman we won 6 games. **** starting a freshman so we "don't have to go through it again". College football changes on a yearly basis. You play the guy that gives you the best chance to win a national title this year.

The men will show up when the time comes. Richt is grooming these guys and that takes time. I think in fall we'll be impressed with the talent on our roster

This. Whoever wins the job will consistently practice against at least the best front 7 he will face all year if not the best overall defense. First time we can say that about our defense in a long time...thank you Manny f*cking Diaz. Whoever wins the job gets two tune up games to prepare for FSU. The schedule lines up nicely with a bunch of extremely winnable games after FSU - the next test shouldn't come until UNC at the end of October. I am very excited for the season and regardless of who is behind center we should be 7-0 or 6-1, and ranked going into the UNC game.

I agree totally. Plus the OLinemen learning multiple positions too. We don't have a doomsday QB situation. CMR just trying to see who's gonna be the best of several good QB's. Many top QB's also don't pan out, see bamer, fsu and usc, sometimes it's the guy you least desired until he tears it up in games. Stop acting like you took the wrong exit and gonna miss your flight.
